I ordered my normal size and they fit fine. But everyone's foot fit is different. The Boa helps lock down the foot, so I get it just right.

My custom order showed up  yesterday and couldn’t wait to break them in around the house last night. They definitely broke in quickly over the evening and they will have their first round today at Pasatiempo.

Footjoy drives me crazy with their MyJoy site.  On the Footjoy page, they list a saddle color on the Packard but they don't offer that color on the MyJoy site.  Same thing a while back with the DryJoy Tours.

Have worn my Premieres for four rounds now, and like them better each time.  Have had a pair of Gallivanters, and definitely prefer the Premieres.  Lightweight, comfortable, stable, and stylish.

The look is very similar.  I can't wear the GFores because they are too narrow.  I can say, the footjoys are comfortable and very supportive laterally in the swing.

 

I have not purchased Footjoy for years.  They hit a homerun with these.

As much as I love the styling and looks of the Premieres, I couldn't find a combination of size and width that gave me a confident fit. Picked up a pair of the Traditions instead and couldn't be happier.  Really light and comfortable to walk in with a classic saddle look.

I absolutely love the Premiere's, best shoe I've bought in a very long time.  I haven't bought Footjoy shoes in forever - but Footjoy knocked these out of the park.  More comfortable and lighter than GFore to me.

Tried to do a custom shield tip premiere and now it shows out of stock until June? Pretty sad to see that as they still have every size available in the normal color ways. Just surprised and disappointed. Won’t be buying any FootJoy’s this year by the looks of it. I’ll still with my fj flex.

I saw them today as well. It was hard to pass on them. I just have so many golf shoes at the moment.

I personally hate the BOA system so I'd never get them. I have the Tour-X non-BOA and they're fine, some say they had to relace them but the one rounds I've played this year I don't think I had to retie them.

I was tempted by the GFore's myself, but am I correct in saying they run more narrow than FJs do?  I've always liked the fit of FJs in the past.

GFore run about the same as the medium width in Footjoy.  I need the wide width in Footjoy. Otherwise, my only choice is Ecco.

I got my Traditions the other day and they're just too nice to wear on my local course here.  Once I move back to San Francsico I'll bust 'em out.  Really liking the blend of classic style and new lightweight sole tech!

Anybody else having issues with fitment of the new Premieres? I love the look but am probably going to have to return them for the second time.

 

I first purchased a size 9M, in both the Flint and Packard, which is the size I wear in all of my Icons and they were way too big. I replaced them with an 8.5W and my heel is still slipping when I walk in them. The material on these is much thinner than the Icons so they are more roomy inside the shoe itself. 
 

I know everybody has a different foot, but I just don’t see how anybody’s heel is staying secured in these.

No issues here - Footjoy has been rock solid for me this year.  To be honest - I've always been a Nike guy but their sizing has become so inconsistent that I've switched to Footjoy/Adidas for 2021.

 

Can you try a 8.5M?
