New cobra MB iron

Wouldn’t surprise me since they did not offer a 3 iron in the Rev 33s

YOu cannot get a 3 iron in the Mizuno 921 tour... I think most are looking at Utilities or hybrids now in the spot.. These retails are looking at how many 3 irons they sell making the decision it is not worth making it as people are just ordering sets with out it.

I too am interested in the finish. Read that it was a PVD-copper finish so you figure it'll wear but how will it look when it wears?

If you want a Cobra 3 iron copper it’s custom only - the hollow Forged tec (looks good as a utility) or the MIM Tour.

But what if you want a 3 iron with no offset to match your new mb’s?  I don’t want a utility cb that looks nothing like the rest of my irons

according to MGS it is...only the Rev33 are real copper.

Cobra offer 3 iron for the game improvement sets and don’t offer it for the players mb?  Shouldn’t they have done the opposite? I don’t understand

It’s interesting, previously for several generations their single piece forgings always had a 2 iron and even a GW.

I contacted Cobra about this and its a no for the MIM tour copper in the UK, whether that changes who knows, but at the moment there not coming to the Uk, disappointing!

Local shop had a demo of the MB, and it looks really good in person. It's small, but if that's your thing you'll love it. Felt really good as well.

The rev 33 are not real copper either.. It is just a color plating.

Do you know yet how these hold up?  I’m looking at putting the Forged MB’s in the bag, I found them incredibly easy to hit the other day for my swing and want to add them as a simulator and sometimes course set.  If they are going to get destroyed though I’d rather do something else.  By destroyed I mean change color, I LOVE bag chatter and character, I just don’t love copper/black irons w/ bare metal looking soles

I dont, I was told that it is the same plating process as their previous black irons. I think it is PVD but I dont know if that is case and others here have said that it is not the same. I think they look amazing and could look even cool a little worn. I would love a set, but I just don't need that many sets of golf clubs.. lol.. I try not to have tons of extra stuff laying around..

So I ordered these blades. I couldn’t stand the hosel transition on my Apex Pros and went in for a fit in the MiM Tours. After several shots the fitter pulled this out of the cart and handed it to me. Straighter (less draw) flights, tighter proximity to the hole, sold.

 

So excited to get my hands on these.
