Reading a lot that says this hurt Na’s chances for the Ryder Cup, I hope it did the opposite. The US has enough nonchalant guys, Na just showed he’s willing to mix it up with the #1 player in the world instead of deferring, and then beat him with a birdie on 18. Seems like someone the team could use. He’s a grinder and can plays a non bomb and gouge style.

The guy refuses to claim a hole he had a right to win by rule, advises the other player he wasn't claiming the hole and what the rule issue was, then proceeded to go out having put himself basically a hole down and whip the guy!

 

Sounds like a pretty good match play guy.

All those defending DJ for picking up a putt that was not conceded.  Would you have the same opinion if it was Sergio, Rahm, Bryce, Reed or whoever the hate club designates as scapegoat of the week?  I agree with those who say Na did nothing wrong.  DJ got beat.

I'm kinda' feeling the same way. Thought it was funny when he called Scotty Scheffler's pitch, "thin", and then had to correct himself when he saw how much spin it had on it. But, to his credit, he called himself on it.

 

Really liking John Wood, though. Just as knowledgeable, but a little more understated.

I know they kept up with matches and stuck here with nothing else to watch this week, but after his head scratcher I thought Spieth came back nicely and was a little under the radar today.
