I'm kinda' feeling the same way. Thought it was funny when he called Scotty Scheffler's pitch, "thin", and then had to correct himself when he saw how much spin it had on it. But, to his credit, he called himself on it.

Really liking John Wood, though. Just as knowledgeable, but a little more understated.

They kind of sound alike.

Now they’ll have to add more round robins to protect the “stars”.

I know they kept up with matches and stuck here with nothing else to watch this week, but after his head scratcher I thought Spieth came back nicely and was a little under the radar today.

Big match tomorrow.  Kuch is playing well so Jordan's going to have his hands full.  Can't pull a Tango Uniform against Kuch like he did against Wolff.

Interesting how some of WRX rules warriors/sticklers are dumping on Na on this. Not surprising at all.

Probably the same guys that rake back a 3 footer on 18 and head to the bar and say they shot a 79.

They may sound alike but it's easy to tell the difference. Bones continually rushes through his words like he just chugged a trenta sized quadruple shot cappuccino from Starbucks while Wood is more laid back in his delivery. Actually prefer Wood over Bones.

Good to know and learn about your experience. You said you played lst 410 for over a year and now find 425 more forgiving. I played 410 plus for over a year; tried g425 Max and did not see much improvement. Then tried g410 lst and just love it from the first a few shots! The more compact head of lst over max/+ just gives me more control on shot direction!  Now being a GolfWRXer I will have to try G425 LST.. lol. I have seen more reviews and overall it’s mixed on if it’s better than g410 lst.

I read about the Na thing on Twitter and here before seeing what actually happened so I was imagining Na doing something much worse. He absolutely did the right thing and he halved the hole.  It’s not like he pulled a Kucher and called the hole. That is a D bag move.

really wish he stop with the walk in thing. It was funny when he first did it but come on. And to make a logo out of it. D bag move.

I'm not anti Kevin Na or DJ - but I will say that if we're going to get technical...isn't the ball supposed to come to rest at the bottom of the cup before one picks it out, Kevin?

Don't throw stones when you technically break a rule every round...

just checked the groups and only 1 out of 16 groups had the highest ranked player advance, Jon Rahm.

dang.. golf is a tough sports.

Yes. DJ out. JT out. Bryson out. Rory out. The list goes on. And that's the risk of matchplay.

remember the first matchplay in 1999; We waited in anticipation for a Phil v Tiger or DL3 v Els or Duval v Monty final and got Jeff Maggert v Andrew Magee.

Dell executives and TV bosses no doubt sweating over the prospect of a Mackenzie Hughes v Eric Van Rooyen final.

Wow - MacIntyre wins the group.

Good job by the kid.

It seems to have been overshadowed by the Na-Johnson thing - and the fact that the TV coverage completely failed to show the shot - but

Robert MacIntyre hit his drive on the 18th 371 yards to 2 feet to win the hole, tie his match, and win the group!

They showed on Golf Central the ball rolling up on the green as DJ (I think) was getting ready to putt.  One of the caddies was giving it the hairy eyeball like "where the h*ll did this thing come from?"

I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting very weary of Bones McKay....he just seems to love to listen to himself talk.

I've been saying that for a while. His rapid-fire delivery of trying to jam in as many words as possible in a short period of time while actually saying very little of substance quickly wore thin. John Wood was better than him on his first day. I wonder how much training or coaching these guys get though. Bones is like the opposite of DLIII was last year, but both would have benefited from some professional training.

Na handled it perfectly.  If he waits until the next hole, it's in his head while he's putting.  If he doesn't say anything, it's in his head all match.  If he does what I would have done and claimed the hole, the press crushes him.  You don't think Poulter would have taken the hole?  Of course he woudl.

I'd be interested in knowing if it happened earlier.  Usually with those things it's a build up.  DJ swipes a couple of them. Na knows it's coming and doesn't say anything until he swipes again.  That's just a guess though.

I like DJ a lot.  But he really is an incredibly dumb person gifted with enormous talents.  There's a lot of ego and not many brains in there.  But what a great life he's made for himself.  Seems to have it all and this will roll off him in seconds.

I think that Na did the right thing, but he should have left it on that hole, between DJ and him.  He should not have done an interview on it.  He's trying to make the Ryder Cup team, but he didn't make any friends with his prospective teammates by doing the interview.

Nice try, but equating what Na does and what DJ did is a stretch.  I've never seen a made putt bounce out of a pre-Covid hole.  So Na's "violation" is almost moot.  Kinda like going 66 mph down a 65 mph stretch of road.  On the other hand, I've seen pros miss 6-inch putts.  So DJ's taking an assumed concession was a much more serious breach of the rules.

Na was right.  DJ was wrong.  Luckily for DJ, Na is a bigger man than Kuchar.

Na, probably made some friends... DJ's brain fart, would have hurt his Ryder Cup team.
