Tour Swing Coaches

If you had the chance to have any Tour Swing Coach, who would you pick and why? Current or "retired".

 

I would pick Butch, several of his students are quite good and one is especially talented!

I don’t want to have him, but I think a few days on the lesson tee and at the dinner table with Butch Harmon would be fascinating.

Mac O’Grady. That guy fascinates me.

I’d take Butch. Not so much a lesson, but I’d love him to watch my swing and make a few notes. He’s a great coach because he’ll work with what you have as opposed to try and mold you into a system. 
 

After my “lesson” I’d want to have dinner with him, his stories are legendary.

I don't think he could make my swing any worse which is his MO.

He's about as close as we're ever going to come to the giftedly insane dipping their toes into the mainstream ever again.  He's also the Granddaddy of the modern golf swing.  AND, most importantly, he will help you appreciate Gary McCord.  Good call on Harvey Penick, btw.

Listened intently, but I still failed to catch 80% of what Bob said. 🙂

Underrated coach.

 

Harrington pretty much never found his former success moving from Torrance.

 

Also his son Sam Torrance was a 21 time winner on the European Tour as well.

George Gankas or Butch Harmon or maybe another coach that I'm not aware of how good they are.

 

I'm not even sure Butch is really up with the cutting edge, it would be moreso just so I could say I went to Butch and since he's Tiger's most infamous coach.

Either Robert Rock or Pete Cowen.

 

Rock because he's coaching alongside currently playing on tour so can help with more than technical work, just maybe not putting. Plus the hair.

 

Cowen because I like his concepts and use a couple of them already.
