No OEM is going to give you that option get over it.  That is what WRX is for, someone will have bought 3 heads and sell them here, just keep eyes on classifieds.

Anybody choose pretty standard options for their order and still no ship? I ordered a TSR2 9* with 1k black x & a tour velvet grip and I’m a bit surprised it still hasn’t shipped.

 

went through my local independent retailer so I can’t check progress on titleist’s website

I ordered a stock TSR2 4 Wood on 9/9 through a Titleist rep and got a shipping update on 9/30. My club called Titleist and said it was taking 3-4 weeks to ship out orders. I think you would see it ship end of this week or sometime next week.

TSr2 noticeably shallower and easier to launch than TSr3. TSr3 has a perfect shape to my eye, very classic and I love that they went back to full scorelines. Pretty easy to launch and lowish spin for me even in the 16.5. I wasn’t able to get nearly as much ball speed off the 2.

Without going into too much detail I am fairly close with a lot of employees of Titleist.  Their recommendation to speed up orders was to always order "Grip in the box."  Meaning your club will skip the portion of the assembly line where the grip is installed.  Instead, the grip will just be tossed in the shipping box for you to install.  According to them, that was the best way to improve shipping times on preorders.  I realize that can't help you now but maybe it will in the future.

I'm waiting on a few items since launch day, it appears the 16.5 heads may be slowing it down.  Titleist mention 10/5 as a ship day last week.  We'll see.

Yeah, I'm getting a little impatient. I ordered a TSR3 9° w/ HZRDUS Black Gen 4, a TSR2+ w/ HZRDUS Black Gen 4, a TSR2 16.5° w/ Tour AD-DI 7S and a TSR2 21° w/ Tour AD-DI 7S with stock grips and nothing else fancy on them through my pro on 9/9 and haven't heard a peep yet. Pro can't get ahold of the Titleist rep (who's usually available pretty frequently) and looking at the website, the setups I ordered have a lead time of 3 weeks, so I'm just getting impatient.

 

I know it's first world problems and all. I just received a couple Vokeys I ordered back in July about a week ago, so I'm not totally oblivious to how things are working right now. I just don't like being quoted 3 weeks (I was when I ordered as well) and then it takes longer. I was actually quoted 8 weeks on my T100-S irons back in July and they arrived in 3, so 🤷‍♂️.

I got my 16.5 tsr3 head in 6 days, ordered 9/15

I ordered on 9/9 and it shipped 9/19 (TSR2+) off titleist website.  I ordered Driver through DD on 9/6 and its shipping to me today.  FWIW

My fitter ordered my tsr2 16.5 9/15 and I got it yesterday and my tsr4 drive 9/9 and haven’t received it yet. Could come today or tomorrow.

The grip could be the delay. I was messing around being impatient and choose a titleist  tour velvet grip and it had it out at 8 weeks then changed grip to a tour velvet 360 and went to 3.

I ordered the TSR2 16.5 and 21 both with AB UB 8x on 9/20, received them on 9/30. Placed an order on 9/20 for the TSR2 11* with AD UB 7x which they started building yesterday, hoping to get it by EOW.

Did the same - mine were ordered through my club on 9/8 and arrived on 9/23 which wasn’t too bad.

 

On that note, have had them on the course a couple times (TSR3 D & 3W with the AD DI shafts) and generally like them. I did decide to cut my driver down an inch since 45.5” was too long. Has anyone else noticed that the driver heads are ridiculously light? Mine is 191g, but with the shorter length, I ordered the 14g weight to replace the stock 8g. Putting it back up to about 197g should get it back in my comfort zone.

Just went and hit a demo tsr2 5wd with the tensei and hzrdus 4g on the range. It felt and looked great. Seemed to travel forever. The hzrdus lowered the ball flight and seemed more accurate.  Of course they didn't have one in store but I ordered it. 

 

I think it will be to long for a 15* fw. So now I'm debating tsr2+ or 13.5 tsr3.

It is! With the AD DI @45.5”, it was a D2.5 and only 314g overall. Should have asked for the heavier weight originally, but easy enough to sort out now. The head is definitely lighter than any other driver I’ve ever tried, so the extra 6g is a must.

I ordered my TSR3 with the 12g (blue) weight and prefer that feel.  If I take it down to 45" I may consider going heavier in the head.  I think it definitely helps if you make it shorter.

D2.5 is right in my sweet spot! sounds like a proper build

@SuperBombinjust weighed his and it sounds like it's 195g.  But, he ordered his at 44.75" so would make sense they added a little weight.  I may end up having to go like 6-7 grams heavier than stock with mine when it comes time.

Standard build for these heads are +/- 2 grams for every half inch +/- from 45.5".

Those of you going with 16.5 degree fairway heads ... are you sticking with Titleist's new 43" length on them, or going with the 42.5" that Titleist has done on previous 4 woods? Or something different? And what was your thought process?
