PGAT players are NOT owned by the PGAT! It's a member organization. Like any organization there are rules you agree to when you join. That's not ownership.

Yesterday you claimed (falsely per usual) he had never played professionally in the U.S.

 

He's playing Asian Tour and DP Tour events the past many years because he wasn't successful when he indeed played PGAT events and others.  Whether he "prefers" those tours, who knows, but pretty doubtful.

 

It's absolutely terrific he's won and a great story, but he can't magically "make the jump" - absent a "Tour" that simply pays guys up front to yuck it up.

What's hilarious is thinking LIV is real competitive golf. Closed shop. No one can earn there way into it, they have to be selected based on no criteria of performance. There's only about 10 that are actually competitive and the rest are just has beens or never weres. It's a clown show exhibition with weak fan interest. Yeah it might be slightly popular in a starved market like AUS but it's still not more popular than the pgat in AUS and I have data to prove it!

Shubhankar Sharma also had a top 10 finish in a major last year.

 

This must mean he is one of the best players on any tour.

LIV will NEVER be able to attract the kind of depth and excitement that is now the final round of the RBC.  It is stacked with the best players in the world along with its future superstars(Åberg for one).

 

This board is filled with fans hoping for a Scotty win so we can read more epic posts from @Ferguson afterwards 🤣

 

The PGA Tour is so deep that an alternative event at PUNTACANA (I love saying that lol)  is 100x more exciting than any LIV event as the golf world waits for its YouTube star and former RBC champion Wesley Bryan to make his comeback and life changing win just like Malnati, Jaeger, and Knapp did earlier this year.  IMO golf is as exciting as it’s ever been. 
 

The ONLY thing LIV had this year was AK’s comeback.  Rahm’s departure and recent whining paints a stark picture for what Liv has to offer.
