Just seeing it now. Kinda weird they didn't match the grey exposed carbon look on the fairways. The Aerojet LS fairway looks exactly like my SZ Big Tour at address.

The aerojet fwy is REALLY good. Numbers compared to Stealth2+...hit the aero twice just to confirm the straight flight I was seeing.

Correct. I hit the ls and knew it wouldn't be good for me. Didn't hit the max. The regular old aerojet set to -1...sits SUPER square and just goes straight.

The Aerojet release is doing exactly what the LTDx release did. The LTDx flew under the radar at a better price point than the big-4, then finished at the top of all the driver comp brackets and is still at the top. You may not want it, but there is nothing better.

The main problem with cobra drivers is that they're hideous behind the ball.  They clearly perform, but it's a tough sell when there are so many good performing drivers that look good too.

I think it looks cheap compared to the LTDx. I have the LTDx Max and no way would I buy this new one over it.

I think the Aero looks marginally better than LTDx. I do like LTDx's option between matte black/gloss blue--both color schemes, imo, look nicer than Aerojet. BUT, Aero's colors aren't horrible, and I love that the crown doesn't have those two little "turbulator" bumps like LTDx does... Crown looks much improved, to me.

 

Idk, if you want a driver that looks like a Titleist driver then buy a Titleist driver? 🤷‍♂️

Could not disagree more.  I think they look way better than Taylormade, Ping, Callaway, etc...

Early leader for worst take of 2023. To me, Cobra drivers frame the ball better than any others and are the easiest to line up. Everyone has different tastes but cobra makes very nice looking golf clubs and they keep up or beat anyone

I get looks are subjective and personal, but to say they are horrible while everything else is good… seems a bit much. At least the last 2 models for sure. Massive improvements with address looks.

Oh for sure! To be clear, I like the development in the last three lines of Cobra woods.  I think they set up great behind the ball & they perform as good if not better than their comps. Sure, Cobra may have a history of using some louder colors than the other OEMs, but honestly the Aero line looks somewhat trad when side by side with the Stealth 2 or Paradym.

idk I really liked the look of the blue LTDx last year. Callaway's paradym drivers have a similar vibe this year.

Aerojet is lightyears ahead of the stock colour LTDx though I'll give that all day.

It looks fantastic!  Prob one of their best looking in a while.  The back side of the crown does not look as stretched out as previous.  Beautiful design!

 

This is the release that really has my attention.  Been a cobra fan since fly z line and loved the f8 fairways and Speedzone driver.

 

Top of the bag might be cobra this year. Can’t wait to text these out.

I do enjoy a matte finish a la LTDx but cannot deny that is one slick looking head. Very classic shape.

I think it is fantastic looking. Even as a Callaway fan I think it looks way cleaner on top (versus the Paradym), the crown to frame seam is crisp. I'm super tempted to pick one of these up even though I'm saving for other stuff 😅.

Aerojet std fwy won out on 3w testing...it's in the bag. Overtook rogue st ls. Was slightly better than std paradym: a bit faster and fewer left misses. It won out over stealth2+ simply because of dispersion while also not being significantly slower. 

 

Time to get it outdoors and see if it holds up.
