If you don't care about what number you play, I just ordered 4 dz. of each of the ProV1x low number, high number, and custom number direct from the Titleist website.  Got the discount for 3 free dozen.

I ordered 12 dozen from a local course. I just put the orders under different peoples names in my house. All the same ball, numbers, etc.

I got a notification from UPS yesterday that mine will be there Sat. I was a little concerned since I’m currently out of town and didn’t want them sitting on the porch. UPS alerts came thru though.

Well, if they are limited allocation the same way private clubs were then they’re just trying to sell the most expensive option.

Mine were delivered today! I think a 16 day turnaround on a custom order is pretty darn good.

I was wondering the same thing. Will Titleist catch it if I place orders from different big box stores? Would they cancel the order or just send three dozen and not include the fourth?

I ordered from two different online retailers and both orders have already been delivered to my residence.

Have mine now. Oddly enough they were delivered last Friday when I was at work, but my wife put them in the home office and then went out of town for the weekend so I just now found them 🙄.

 

Never did receive any sort of shipping confirmation from Carl's and my order status on their site still says "pending shipping".

My guess has always been that they are trying to stop an individual from ordering a ton of balls and then reselling them for a profit.  You're obviously not going to make that much money that way, but I'm sure if I wanted to I could resell plenty of Pro V1s for $50 per dozen when retailers are restricted to MAP of $55.

PGA Club Pros are angry!  They were limited to only selling so many 4/3 to their members or regular players at public courses. Then Titleist used information (emails from previous sales at these facilities) to directly sell to us through their website cutting out the PGA club pros from more profits.  Just go on the Titleist website and order your balls at the same price.

Our course was able to get 70 orders and people have been ordering unlimited amounts at carls for about a month now. Not sure why you would limit clubs and nobody else.

Apart from feel, is there a huge difference between Left Dash and regular Pro v1?

Turnaround on the custom orders is pretty quick.  I stopped by my club today (course isn't open yet) and they were in my locker.  I ordered another 4 dozen with no customization direct from Titleist on 3/15, and those haven't shipped yet.
