I will be bias, I have an older X5, I just love the shape, face balanced, it allows me to hit the ball end over end no matter the distance...

Weird. I didn't even know the "My Girl" headshape existed. But fits with the business model.

 

Steal the design from one company, bite the nomenclature off another, and then charge a ridiculous price.

I don't hate it. Obviously not a drastic change from what the 5 has been for a while now. I have been thinking of picking up a Scotty mallet recently but I'll just wait to see the new line before making a decision on what I'm going with.

Yeah, indeed. 

 

That "My Girl" is a spitting image of the Toulon version of the Odyssey #7. 

At least the X5 distinguished itself slightly from the #7.

The neck looks like it was made with an aluminum shaft extension. It's a completely different color and comes across like  some aftermarket hatchet job.

As I recal, Justin Thomas's 5 had a similar neck last year -- really cheap looking, IMHO

Does Cam always play a putter with deep milling? I expected the new phantom line to have milling similar to the Super Duper Select line but this looks deeper.

Looked at it again this morning and my reaction was the same as my initial reaction yesterday. I’ve been playing a 5.5 for a couple years and the new lines on this one don’t appeal to my eye. Just a bit of a distraction.

I'm sure there will be some marketing behind the new lines you emphasize above. Perhaps they really do help with alignment. Time will tell.

It’s called a knuckle neck……Scotty has been doing them for years and I’ve owned a few

That is not the same putter. The putter in that photo is a T11 but he's probably using the same shaft.

That's from the Hero, can't find anything from the Sentry but he had the same style grip in white in the RSM.
