Agreed. I like it a LOT. No mag wheels, no chrome exhaust tips, and no candy pearl paint job. My kind of tool.

The topline on his putter doesn't appear to be aligned in the center of the cavity...could just be the angle but I don't remember seeing other Tour Camerons purposely placed off center.

 

And I know the true sweet spot might be closer to the heel on a plumbers neck putter.

not sure if i'm seeing things are my simple math is way off but i'm counting 14 clubs in his bag not including putter. so i'm not sure if he swaps out the 2i and 5w, or 62° hi-toe and 58° vokey, but there's also a possibility he may only have 8 wilson clubs in the bag depending on what is swapped out.

Even from this angle the sight-line seems to be on the heel side of the cavity. Or maybe just the middle stamp is off? I don't know, hard to say, but it would probably drive me nuts. Haha

The Cortex headcover on the ping and the Wilson staff headcover on the aero burner gave me a chuckle. Those black c tapers on the new Wilson blades are so legit!

Nice endorsement for the new Ping drivers, which are excellent btw, and certainly every bit as good as the G400 drivers. Ping has really stepped it up the last 2 series. Count me impressed with the new drivers.

I can't imagine Wilson is under any illusion that anyone is going to choose their driver over a Taylormade, Callaway or Ping. Just getting a name player into the irons is a big deal for them and will start to add credibility to the brand again. I'm sure they would be quite happy being in a Mizuno like position on Tour.

At £400 I hope they are under no illusion that they will sell much of them at all then if they can't get the tour staff into them.

At least the headcover colors match the G410 nicely.

Wilson has to love none of their pros playing the Cortex.

Is all of this still accurate for the US Open?

Per my really (too) quick read of comments above, the sight-dot on his putter is no doubt over the center of mass of the putter and not the measured center of the blade itself. Which is the correct thing for Woodland to have asked for. And others have done the same.
