Always looking for better performance out of my swing and out of my clubs. I'm a tinkerer it's just what I do, sometimes to a fault.

I can only commit to a set for the year,,,,I always give last years set to the First Tee Foundation.... Well the irons atleast....lol

Other than that, I just an iron hoe

I have pretty much replaced most of my bag over the past 12 months and am happy with 90% but always looking around to see if there is something to add or improve on:

 

Driver: Callaway XR Pro - Project X LZ Red 6.5 tipped

3 Wood: Titleist 913H 13.5* - Diamana Black 72 X Flex

Rescue: Original Taylormade 2FW 16* - Fujikura Vista Pro 90 X flex tipped

Irons: Srixon 745 (4i - PW) - Nippon Pro Modus 120 S Flex

Wedges: Cleveland RTX 52* (bent to 53* medium bounce) & 58* low bounce

Putter: I have a selection of about 30 putters of every description. Current gamer is a Taylormade Spider Mallet Centre Shaft

 

I am looking to add a 4 hybrid and possibly replace my 10 - 12 year old 2 hybrid but haven't found anything that makes me go gaga yet.

 

The Srixon 745's are the best irons I have ever owned. They replaced a set of Mizuno MP64's about 5 weeks ago.

I am playing around with driver right now, going between the 910 D2 and D3, but I really feel that the rest of the bag is solid and I don't remember ever feeling this way really... haha. For reference, right at this point bag goes..

I promised myself at the end of last season (in which I constantly tinkered with my equipment) that as I was playing pretty well I'd not change anything for this year. Then my 7 iron broke at the range. So I got some different irons. Then I decided to change my putter for one I was intending to sell, then I found a bargain on a used Adams driver that I couldn't say no to. I liked the driver so much that I got an Adams 3 wood. I liked the three wood so much I got the hybrid.

 

Then I realised that despite my promise to myself, the only thing that hasn't changed in my bag since my last round in 2015 is my 54 & 58 wedges.

 

I think I'm pretty happy with my bag now!

I have to amend my previous post. I was happy, but I switched out the XR 4 hybrid for the Titleist 816 H1 4 hybrid. I am now completely satisfied!

I keep going through it, trying to find a club I would consider swapping, can't come up with any

 

I may go a bit deeper in to the MP5 set, picked up a new 6 iron head for a song, have the ctaper and grip for it already. I have $100 return to make today, kicking around using that to order a new MP5 - 7iron from Dan's.

 

We'll see, awfully happy with the 54's mids, but if I do this, I can set the 54's with the 64's as my backup set, and sell the 4-7 MP H5.
