It almost looks like the teeth of a zipper in the middle of the club. Even with that said, they are some good looking irons, and I'm not much of a TM iron guy.

They look fine in person. Exactly the same as the Milled Ground series of wedges currently out.

I doubt it... with their main players gaming these irons I am sure they will sell these at a hefty price. Has anyone hit Taylormade blades before? I personally love the feel of Cobra the most, then Mizzy, then Bridgestone and then Titleist but i have never hit a Taylormade...

If they're 100% milled, they're not going to be cheap. That's a somewhat timely and expensive process.

Oh, I'm sure they do. I said I thought they looked good. It just appears from some of the pictures that a zipper belongs on it.

I recently got fit for a set of P750s and right now I'm just drooling over these. Might hold off on ordering the 750s just so I can make a combo set with these.

I've hit many a Mizuno, Titleist, Bridgestone, Callaway and Srixon blade in my time. I'd put my Taylormade Smoke TP MBs against any of them. They look and feel that good, at least to me.

 

TM can make some amazing blades... It just takes them a decade to do it (apparently).

Whether they are all milled or all forged, rest assured, they will be expensive. Especially if they are a LE run.

That would be a redunkulous set.

 

790 - 3 : 770 - 4/5 : 750 - 6/7 : 730 - 8/9 would be pretty ideal for me.

I think it will be a touch less than that, maybe $1699, a few hundred more than the 750s but once you get anywhere near the $2k mark I think you lose a large buyer set.

I heard the numbers in the Precision series (730, 750 etc.) refer to heel-toe length. Anything those numbers are based on other than just stating one iron design is relatively shorter/longer blade length?

Nice looking, and great to see Taylor Made, Callaway, and Titleist making genuine forged muscle-back blades again with no gimmicks, just compact heads, thin top-lines, and gorgeous looks. It's interesting how much they all resemble the MP-18. Like everyone was making a set just for Rory. Oh, well, a whole bunch of really pretty irons coming to retail for blade lovers!

every time i make a combo set i regret it and end up filling the top of the bad with blades anyway. i dont think there is enough playing difference between a blade and a "players cavity". just get the blades.
