Unfortunately it will always be that way. Guys like me will not be able to discuss things because we like our jobs. Haha. The sites will always be at the mercy of their advertising, and those juicy trips and giveaway product are important to keeping and generating membership, so they will do what they are told. Those are just the facts unfortunately.

 

i work in the medical field and remember when viagra was being tested, i had access to the literature a year or so before it came out, i understand. i also have access to other medical facts that people would love to know about but as u said, that is our world now days.

This is off topic but the MOAD made me remember a question I've always had: is the crown on a driver necessary? I mean, most composite heads these days just have the CF there for filler as far as I can tell, not for structural support.

If it is not available until January or later I don’t really want to see it yet. I have seen clubs that leak months early and by the time they actually launch there is no excitement. What is the point of instant gratification now if I can’t have it for 3 months?

 

Having the “buzz” peak too early is another reason they don’t want it to leak yet.

Carbon faced drivers lasted about 1 golf season and then the surface was busted apart and needed to be replaced. Still the Yonex ADX tour drivers were among the longest of their day, being the club of several long drive exhibition teams.. Irons might go in less than a season with ball and turf/sand erosion of the face.

You don't have to wait a year for your driver to drop 70% less than MSRP. Just go out and hit it a few times then it becomes a used/preowned club then the price will drop like a ton of bricks.

Ok....so my memory is definitely not the greatest. So if someone remembers this better than I do I'd definitely agree them.

 

But didn't this whole M3 and M4 start with Rory kinda trolling WRX? I don't remember exactly the whole Rory thing, but I do remember the topic of M3 and M4 being at the same time....

 

Again my memory sucks but for some reason I remember thinking that they might all be intertwined....
