I think it’s tour only. Only seen 6.5 at retail.

I haven't seen his TM deal but it wouldn't surprise me that it isn't some type of "piecemeal" deal. TW plays a TM driver he gets X money, same for fairways, hybrids, irons, wedges and a putter.

 

I think TaylorMade will have to really step up to the plate to get him out of his irons and wedges. I'm sure TM tour operations/support is very competent but there is more to it than just making a TM version of what he has been used to playing for the past 15 years. They will be dealing with an individual that has (had) an eye and sense of feel beyond most PGA Tour professionals.

I have no doubt this is true. My gut tells me, though, that he’ll continue to play the same heads, but stamped to look like the p730s. 99% of the golf populations would never know the difference.

Exactly....Taylormade will most likely just make a mild of his current set and have Mike Taylor do the grinding, etc..., and then add Taylormade esthetics. Not going to be a big deal

Agreed. Whatever TM comes up with for him will be disguised with P730 style branding.

Taylormade will make a TW signature iron, at least this is what they said when they signed Tiger. Therefore I am not sure his irons will look like the P730.

Before everyone saw how Tiger was playing, just playing four days and not being in pain was a success. But after the first two rounds, now we're disappointed in Tiger. Still, better that he at least showed a glimpse. If he plays even par the rest of the tournament even par, better to me that he still was able to shoot in the 60s and lost it.
