Does Honma have a presence in USA? In my shop there is no way I’d stock it as it’s just another manufacturer competing with the four other mainstream brands. Having Rose on staff certainly isn’t going to sway that decision

Have seen them in multiple shops. Demo days too.

It's a risky move for him to change up when he is playing the best golf of his life. I'm sure Honma can replicate the blade irons and wedges he plays pretty easily. The woods, driving iron and putter may be more of a difficult transition.

 

Will be interesting to see if he sticks with a TM ball.

 

I imagine he will go with a mixed bag of TM and Honma for a while.

 

Here's hoping he puts some of those gold Honma clubs into the bag...

 

I think Rose will continue to use his TM wedges so the only thing that will change is his irons (4-9). I really don't think this change will be an issue at all, of course if he doesn't start well everyone will point to the new equipment.

That is what I was thinking, too. He played the Cleveland 588 for a long time, at least in his highest lofted wedge.

I've heard they are making a big push here......at my roger dunn you can buy all the honma tour world stuff they have....even some beres stuff...whereas 2 yrs ago not a chance.....

 

They have it on racks and displays.....so from what I am seeing and hearing it does seem that way

I'm confused, which bit is 'bait'? I had a fitting with a Titleist rep at a local course and the TS drivers and the TM-B irons couldn't beat my gamers. That's it. Civilization carries on......
