Love the new "old" look!

Amen brother. Now the list view of discussions shows new posts I haven’t read (bold dot) ones I’ve read (grayed dot) and ones I’ve participated in (star.) Tht was sorely missed.

I think it is terrible. I preferred the bold vs non-bold subjects indicating whether I had read a topic before or not. In fact, that's how the Invision Powerboard worked before. So, this is far from the new old look. This is just another new new look that is poorly designed at best.

It looks a lot more like the old site, and that is what they were going for.

I did get used to the bold/non-bold subject too. Funny how time changes you.

 

It won't take long until you get back to being used to the old 'dot,star' format.

The search feature still stinks. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I can't search a particular discussion. Searches everything or I can do an advance to particular board, but not an individual discussion.

Subjects are back for PMs! What a huge relief!

 

EDIT: Bah! Old PMs cannot be accessed. When I look at old messages, all I see is "No formatter is installed for the format ipb". Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for checking. I realized it is only some of my old messages. I don't know if it is date-based, as in only messages past a certain date are affected. I posted it in the WRX2.0 bugs forum so hopefully it gets addressed, either with a fix or a confirmation that old messages may be lost.

I miss seeing a time and date next to a reply in a thread. Like am I reading a thread that’s been posted in a bunch of times today or did the last post bump it from inactivity a month ago? Not a huge deal but figured I’d point it out.

Seems like a mobile-only issue. Seeing them just fine on the full website (Chrome), but don't see them on my phone (Android/Chrome).

Now that we have a workable base product, we will be taking feedback and rolling out updates continuously. Some things will be easy, others will require some work. There are various reasons why things can be implemented and reasons they won’t allow. We are in constant negotiations with them.

Not sure if this is the right place, however, can someone advise ... why do you get double lines/spaces in your club signature when you make a minor amendment ??? (See below) How can you fix this ???

 

As well, on the Old format you could identify your location & where you lived .... the New format doesn't show or allow you to include this info .... is this forthcoming in some upgrade ?

It is using html. Copy and paste your bag into an editor that does not convert to web code, like notepad and then paste back.
