Clubs you regret selling?

Ping i5 irons. Z-Z65 shafts with cushin inserts. Finally happy with my i210’s after bouncing around the past few years, but still miss the i5’s.

My Spalding TE's Bird on Ball. So sweet feeling, looking. Baseline for all my forged irons since. Still have my original Nike forged offering close second.

Titleist 755. Extra length stiff shafts. I have never been below 22 handicap so they were not appropriate for me but still miss them at times. I see the guy I sold them to most Saturdays at comp. Clubs all rusty now...

Hmmmm. Probably my Razr X MB's. I've kept most everything I have bought and that part of the garage is really just a pile of chapters in my golf game life. My kids will inheret a diary of equipment when I die.

I'm going to post again this time with all of the clubs I regret selling.

Ping i-series 1/2 Craz-E B, illegal now but it would have given me about 6-7 more years enjoyment

the rest of my Glide Stealth 2.0s now I'm in scramble mode trying to find something before the season starts while everything around me is closing rapidly due to the virus outbreak

Nike Vapor Pro Combos with Recoil 110s, very long given their weakened lofts and I sold them after 3 perfect range sessions and my coach saying how good they were for me all because I thought I needed forgiveness. I went to G700s that lasted one round and hitting the biggest sweep draws with an iron you've ever seen...4i was cash though!!

G30 LST driver. Sold after 3 years for a Callaway Rogue which then I sold for an F9, and have since sold the F9. I'm not convinced any of these were particularly longer or straighter than the G30. Might just bite the bullet on a G410 LST with Tour shaft to see if I can replicate the magic.

God the money I have wasted!!!

It takes about 3 months, but after I sell any club, it eventually becomes in my mind the greatest club ever. I usually have to buy and sell that club two more times before I actually admit that I didn't like it.

I have bought and sold so many sets of irons, different driver heads/shafts that I have lost track. 2 that really stick out to me are the Bridgestone J15 cb’s and more recently my p760’s. I have just recently bought another set of p760’s that I’m waiting for to arrive. Different shafts so hoping I like them the same

My first set of clubs...They were a custom made set from Gorman Golf in Detroit. 1-3-4-5 persimmon woods 3-SW cavity back irons. The SW was custom ground for me by the owner. Gorman Golf was one of the original custom club makers in the 70s.

My Mizuno MP-33s but only because I sold them to a friend and that sent his game into a tailspin that he never recovered from. He still gives me a hard time over it :-)

I do wish I'd kept a log of all the clubs I've owned. It is a sickness....

3 wood: Yamaha Inpress X V 15* with Diamana Kaili 70x.

7 Wood: Yamaha I.F.F. 20* with Diamana D83x.

Irons: Yamaha Inpres X Tour Model 2011 4i - PW with Quadra 100i shafts.

Wedges: Mizuno Jypers 2 letter press with Quadra 100i shafts.

Putter: What I already have :)

Imagine all this gear in a Yamaha tour bag. Jeez it looked cool.

Callaway BB Fusion irons with TT Black Gold S300 shafts.

Shot my best round and then promptly bought a set of blades again.

Did that to get some feel back in the game, but lost a lot of automatic shot consistency.

I wouldn't say it was the greatest decision, but it's been a fun journey.
