that’s exactly what happened to me when I did my fitting almost 2 months ago. Luckily, some of the bigger box stores still had the i500 irons in stock - so I bought a set as my gamers this season.

I really wanted to hit them as a potential candidate as my 4-6i... going with the i210s, hope they work!

I just want to see the i500 replacements because there’s a good chance I’m going to need/want them.

That’s for the i59.  I haven’t seen any information on the i525s.

I have played more than 300 rounds with my i210s.  Never had a problem with any of the inserts.

 

Back when I played the i20s, I did have a couple of the inserts come unglued.  I think Ping fixed the problem by using stronger glue starting with the i25s moving forward.

300 rounds!? Fair to say at this point that the i210's have worked out well for you? I'm only 297 rounds from reaching that number but sure hope to reach that number with these irons

Thanks for sharing your experience with the 210s. I went to a demo day last week and the Ping reps said pretty much the same. In addition to the stronger glue they mentioned that the inserts had more surface area and thus the glue would have more adhesion. They also said there are two prongs on the back of the inserts that go into the club head. I ended up ordering a set, and now the wait begins (quoted six weeks).

I was able to confirm it’s going to be released this summer, and prob ship mid August. But I don’t have any other info on it.

Man those i59's look sweet! I haven't played a set of Ping's in a long time, but the i59's definitely sparked my interest! Does anyone know what they are supposed to be comparable too in terms of Ping's current lineup? Is it supposed to be an iblade replacement or what was the old s55-s59 player's iron category? Does anyone know if the blueprint will stay in the lineup and get a makeover eventually as well? I could see a blueprint short irons and i59 long iron setup possibly or maybe just straight set all the way through depending on what the short irons look like.

Sorry if I missed this, I can only scroll through so many pages before my eyes cross, but is PING planning to update the i210 in the near future? I love mine but they are getting pretty ugly. I59's are too much club for me.

After hitting the i59.....demanding they are! I believe you could play them coming from i210 though

@robbie91 I don't think the i59 would be too demanding for someone coming from the i210 irons.  Once they come more widely available I would be suprised if there's much drop off on mishits compared to your current iron.  Only one way to find out...
