You are now a Masters winner and a green jacket owner. What are you serving for dinner?

Just imagining here while I sit at work. If I won the Masters. This would be my imaginary menu.

A5 wagyu boneless ribeye with house made steak sauce or brown butter sauce, roasted fingerling potatoes, sautéed asparagus .

King crab and Lobster tail with drawn garlic butter.

Atlantic king salmon with bourbon maple glaze, roasted Brussels sprouts and roasted asparagus.

Assorted sushi, nigiri, and sashimi with all the fixings.

Newcastle brown ale and 55 year old Yamazaki whiskey.

Tiramisu, pecan pie, and chocolate, vanilla, strawberry milkshake.

What would you serve for dinner as a Masters winner?

My grandma's special 3-day preparation of good Tennessee ham (Benton's, of course), pinto beans and my mom's cornbread, home-canned green beans, okra cooked with tomatoes and onions, and chow-chow.  Pecan pie and banana pudding for dessert.  Shiner bock and Weller 12 to drink!

Grilled pork belly or Galbi, white and brown rice along with Kimchi soup.

Main drink will be Soju. Mix it with beer like a boiler maker.

Paris Baguette Strawberry cake or shaved ice with sweet bean and fruits/condensed milk.

this is one of those threads that we do a lot....but unlike every other thread we do a lot....it's actually always fun!

I think i change my answer every year.

I would probably go with own specialty, which is spicy BBQ chicken Nachos with some sort of European beer. I'm on Carlsberg right now so that

Nothing fancy, I guess.

Likely thick ribeyes, some kind of stringy, crumbly, delicate onion rings on top, thick cut baked fries, a well stocked dinner salad. Apple pie and homemade ice cream for dessert.  If they don't like it - more for me!

Let me revise.
a really good Cabernet from the ANGC wine cellar.
make sure the prime ribs are prime grade, basted in real butter.
glass of bourbon neat with the apple pie.

Good call.  I have a buddy who worked a few Masters in a sommelier/waiter/bartender capacity. He told me Augusta's wine cellar is astonishing.

I would be much more focused on the liquor and wine then the food. Whatever prime steak and potato that would keep me from making an @-$-$ out of myself from over imbibing would do just fine.

Ha! Have basically that exact menu for dinner twice a week ; )

Cept the pie. Usually have a few M&Ms.

For Masters I think I do like,

Giant Italian Combo! And Munchos. And sodas!

A very common dinner at our house, too. The pie is a rare treat.

I’ll skip right to the

Bourbon and Pie 🥧!

Love apple pie with a buttery flaky crust.

I have bourbon and pie and start harassing everybody and be the first Masters Champion

To get kicked out of his own dinner party!

If only they'd allow me to have Tommy Armour III supply the serving trays . . .

Tommy Armour III should be allowed into any and all dinner parties on general principal. The only golfer who's ever dripped more sauce (then him) is Ray Floyd.

He was our pro at the LA Open Pro-Am 20 years ago.  Hit some fantastic shots, but was an arrogant tool.  It was like playing 18 with Shooter Mcgavin.  Smoked more cigarettes than spoke words during the round.

It's a shame that he acted that way. My post wasn't really speaking towards his affability when forced to play golf with strangers, but the above article is interesting, and a good example of the point I was making. It really wasn't much of a point - more of a half joking observation. Obviously TA3 doesn't get into the champions dinner at Augusta. As I said earlier in this thread though, I do have a friend who worked that dinner as a wine steward on a few occasions, and he said Ray Floyd commands a room like a movie star. So, there's probably some truth there.
