I think the Pro finds a perfect middle ground between the roundness of the Mavrik Pro and the boxy, squared off look of previous Apex and Adams hybrids.

I've had a 20* Pro 3h sample in the bag with a Mitsubishi MMT 8X shaft in it and have been delighted by what it offers. Sound and feel are akin to the original Apex hybrid from '16 (thought the '19 version was harsh in this department). It also offers a combination of length and playability that's very impressive. Think that can be attributed to it offering distance from speed rather than cutting spin. Trackman consistently showed carry between 225 and 230 with 4000+ RPM of spin, and on-course results have been consistent with this. Maintaining that spin gives it stopping power when needed, but just as importantly helps keep shot patterns manageable.

ehh. why did they have to name that fugly hybrid apex. we know that the apex hybrid is. we like the apex hybrid. no need to make a pro model. the apex is the pro model. the other one should be flash epic diamond star supermax or whatever.

Wow the Pro hybrid looks great - much smaller like the 16 head. Very nice.

The Apex standard hybrid looks like the Big Bertha 19 hybrids tho.

curious to understand the different users vs. the new x-forged they just released as well.

IIRC the Xforged are solid irons, whereas the Apex line is all 'hollow' with speedfoam and has tech in them like cup face and etc.

Nothing against Callaway, these clubs look great but haven’t they gone a little far with their release schedule. Nothing in iron technology has changed so drastically that they need to release them at the clip Callaway or Taylormade for that matter releases them.

Apex iron lines are on a 2 year product cycle; quite in line with what others in the industry are doing.

I always play Callaway Apex iron since 2014, and have played 2014 apex,  2016 apex, 2016 pro, and 2019 apex pro, and now play apex pro dot. I generally don’t like the trend that they add too much “technology” to irons. Ok  (and needed) to woods but not to irons which are mainly designed for feel and control, not for distance. I will give this trend the benefit of doubt and will likely try the new 21 apex pro, but for time being I feel that my apex pro dot will most likely stay in my bag.

Irons look really great. I am interested in the regular hybrid as well.

I think they have 8 hybrid options out right now - kinda crazy. I guess that's a good thing as a consumer!?

Don’t  those 21 Apex pictures look the same as Apex 19?

The '19 Apex sold so well that any changes made for the '21 version were always going to be subtle. That's not to say that the tech enhancements aren't substantive, but you also wouldn't want to go completely "New Coke" on such a successful formula either.

Bummed about TCB not coming stateside or likely even in lefty like the triple diamond stuff.  But man those look great.  Definitely have some old Adams vibes but much better looking in person.  Those digital marketing materials we saw a few weeks ago didn't do it justice.  I personally like providing two options for hybrid as well.  Jury is still out but initial reaction is bravo Cally.

'21 Apex and '19 Apex look the same, same specs. Same 43 degree pitching wedge too.

Callaway hit an absolute home run with the Apex CF'16. For me, they have squandered 2 chances to improve on that club, neither the '19 or the '21 look as good to me and have moved farther away from getting me to buy them. Was really hoping the '21 would be an improvement but ...

OK, Ping my hopes are relying on the new i500 update. Otherwise, it's Tailor-made P770 for me this year.

Apex Pro irons look money.  Reg Apex blehhh still thick topline.  Wish they would done like a Apex Pro and a Apex Pro Plus with slighly larger head and stronger loft leave the GI to the Apex DCB.
