It has to be interesting defending a title so soon after hoisting it. It would feel tempting to switch back to the same exact equipment and wear all the same clothes since they are probably still in a suitcase. 😆

I have a 36 hole strokeplay next weekend. I’ve just called it off. Waiting for the Masters back in April like a first date. I’ll even make pimento cheese and peach cobbler for the weekend.

Is there any way to watch this tournament in it’s entirety?   I have the Masters app and it looks like the earliest on Thursday is featured groups around 8:45am.  Nothing on Tv as far as I can tell until 3pm.  Ridiculous.  Is there any place to watch the opening tee shots with Elder?   Thanks.

Biggest shock so far is Brooks being there. Seems pretty incredible, having had surgery on 16th March that he is seemingly fit and able to play. He has said that he has spent seven hours a day on the treatment table to get himself ready. I wonder how ready the game will be if that has been the case.

He doesn't practice anyway, so it'll make no difference.

2018’s was definitely exciting, don’t remember 2007 and 2008 specifically. But hopefully the 2018 champions in contention this week, it’s always entertaining.

Hopefully, Spieth didn't peak a week early.  I know that Valero win must have given him a lot of confidence and I hope he rolls into the Masters firing on all cylinders.  Would be great to see him in the green jacket.

Give Zach some credit. Two time major winner. Agree, people don’t pay for a ticket to see that type of players, but the guy’s got grit indeed. Good old Corey Pavin tradition.

Exactly. 2008 and 2018 were good as well, in 08 you had a chase from Tiger and in '18 Fowler was there and Spieth had a great final round. People may have not liked the winners, but that doesn't make it a great Masters. I'd almost argue 2014 was probably the least exciting Masters over the past decade.

Basically everything should be available through the app or website.

 

It also looks like they are bringing back the "My Group" feature where you can pick your favorite players and it'll show you every shot from them live.  From what I remember, shots from the leaders and any "great" shots are also included in the My Group feed even if you don't select the player as a favorite.
