I'm pulling for John Catlin, an invitee from California.  He lives now in Thailand, won 3 recent Euro Tour events and is familiar with excessive heat and humidity, as also found in South Carolina. He's a friendly guy and could use a $$$ boost up in life.

Yeah, i too live in Thailand and play plenty of golf year round.  Welcome you.

No excessive heat/humidity this week at Kiawah. Temps forecasted to be between 78-82* F for the tournament.

Does Catlin still live in Thailand?

I would assume he would be residing in Europe since he is permanently on the ET.

Would be great to see Morikawa pull off a repeat... Hopefully putter stays hot.

Would also be interesting to see how Koepka recovery is going and if he can return to playing at the 'major' level were used to seeing...

I don't think he lives there anymore.

He's back in California more than Thailand these past few years, since he's really devoted himself to a ET schedule.

I've followed him for a while now (we're from the same city and I've met him), and his posts from Thailand have practically disappeared.

Brooks would be my pick, but not this year.  He said that his knee is still not 100%.  You can't really push off and do the squat move 100% if you have a bad knee.

I wasn’t playing golf when The Ocean Course was gaining it’s fame. E6 connect subscribers were given the course for probably limited time play. So I fired up the sim and have played the course several times from tees a little longer than I normally play and didn’t think the course was all that. There were a few holes where the fairways were “broken up” which forced me to play a fairway wood approach shot on par 4’s but it just didn’t seem to be an OMG this is a difficult course. Granted I had the weather set perfect…fair skies, no wind so maybe that’s the course’s defense. Torrey (South) is included on my basic list, I’ve played the course in person as well and THAT course wasn’t that difficult either…just long…very long. So is the environment…wind, etc., what’s gonna make the Ocean Course a challenge or does the PGA just push the tees way back and that’s the challenge?
