This is what Reed Brings.  Can you say that any of the other picks are capable of producing one of , if not the greatest match seen on Tv? 
 

as far as his comments on the loss in France. I think ,to me at least , he was speaking to the behind the scenes drama.  Who knows whether speith didn’t want to play with him or what ?  But something went down obviously.  Same for keopka and DJ slap fighting.  Instead of thinking about winning. They’re thinking about their feelings , and comfortability.  That’s the baggage.

If Brooks plays and his wrist acts up in the middle of the tournament and he is forced to take himself out, his singles match would be halved. Brooks has complained of injuries before, but he always perseveres and somehow seems to play better with them. I think he'll be fine in a few weeks.

Just pair BDC with BK and get it over with. They are going to be paired together someday unless one of them retires soon so it's better to do it on friendly terms. If TW was captain, he'd sit them down together and lay down the law. No walking on eggshells for the entire week, no ***** *** ****. Tell BDC to go play golf, man the **** up or move to France and play for the other side.

 

Also I might find a way to get Zalatoris on the team. Need to check out how he does in the next week or two with his new putter.

That was early tiger, prime tiger is now a team player. See 2019 Presidents Cup when he put the team on his back and carried them across the finish line. But TW isn't coaching or playing this year, unfortunately. So it's all mostly irrelevant.

No, it's nothing to do with wanting them to be friends. They don't have to be friends, they do have to work together toward a common goal. It's called professionalism.

 

The worst thing that can happen is if they have to make sure BDC and BK are kept 100 feet apart at all times and everyone mentions the feud every 10 seconds. Middle school is over kids, time to grow up.

I agree that Brooks is more of the aggressor, but Bryson has played a role as well with his gratuitous criticism of how Brooks looked in the SI body issue(which really amped this thing up), and then subsequent jabs.  He's not an innocent/unaware victim in this.

 

I feel bad for Bryson at times, but then he goes and does another a-hole move and I realize that he does have a side to him that's really just a d!@k.

but Brooks deserved that jab.  It was after it was started. And what he said wasn’t a lie.  Brooks looked remarkably worse than Gary player. Who’s 136 years old.  I’m not admonishing Bryson.  I’m just saying that if anyone causes a argument at the Ryder cup , I doubt it’s Bryson.  Unless someone wants to blame him for starting it by being himself.  I don’t get to enjoy that luxury when someone annoys me. I’m not sure why Brooks should get to. If Brooks let’s Bryson into his head by just doing his own thing .  It’s Brooks fault.   On the flip side Bryson complaining about the purposeful abuse from fans that’s instigated by  Brooks , is correct thing to do.   One is a guy not liking  someone else , and letting that get into his head. The other is being the target of purposeful attacks.  Ironically by the same person and his fans.  They’re not the same thing.

Adding to my earlier post why Euro will lose…another reason they get crushed - the U.S. crowds.  I think we are underestimating just how wild the crowds will be and it will rattle team Europe.  All those fans yelling Brooksy last week will turn up the heat and redirect to Europe.

 

It’s a unique situation in that fans are in a pent up state and after being grounded for pandemic, it’s going to unleash.  It might even get ugly.  No doubt team Europe will pull out the US fans have no class card.

Totally agree. I went to college in Wisconsin and one thing we do really well is drink. The PGA Of America said that daily attendance will be around 40,000-45,000 so this could get ugly fast.  I think Bethpage in 2025 will be awesome, no way the Europeans survive that one haha.

As long as they don't burp during their swings and they don't insult their families I am pretty sure they are used to be heckled...

I don’t know.  Didn’t help the women in the solheim cup.  They had 80 % or better us fans because of travel restrictions, abd the USA got curb stomped.  It wasn’t as close as the score indicates.

You see it as Bryson just being himself, and Brooks attacking him for it, unprompted.  I just don't see it that way.

I think we all understand you dont care for Brooks and maybe identify with Bryson? But really unsure what point any of this has in regards to the RC. 

 

Pretty sure bottom line, Brooks can hate Bryson all he wants and can still go out and knock pins down.  Same as Bryson can be the giant tool he is, and play at a high level....thats really all were looking for.

I don’t really care for either being on the team. ( my opinion )  . But I don’t think that matters.  
 

you can follow the conversation above and see what was said.I was responding to the conversation going on about 1. Forcing them to play together  and 2. The idea that they needed to be separated to prevent some drama similar to the DJ Brooks drama last time.  
 

I’ll agree that they can both be tools and keep it to themselves and it will not bother me.  But if they decide to allow it to cause a dramatic scene , and contribute to the lack of team atmosphere like last time , it’s an issue worth mentioning.  As a fan I have a problem with that.  Especially when it seems to revolve around one guy. Yes or no ?  Is that not a legitimate idea ?

The way the crowd gets involved at the Ryder Cup on US soil is a far bigger factor than it is at the Solheim Cup on US soil
