Agreed. Why engineer a "new sole design" that doesn't include the preworn leading edge in the better players category?

I dont know. Maybe this new bob vokey design does the same thing in a different way. But it sounds like you need to be a toe down player for this grind to work properly. The pre worn edge was very popular so im surprised they did away with it.

Tried T100, T100s and T200 today. 
 

I had high expectations but I was blown away. T100 and T100s is by far the best feeling club ever, nothing short of amazing. Looks, feel and sound is absolute perfection. 
 

T200 was kind of a let down, but it’s just because it was next to T100/s. Compared to for example P770, T200 is an absolute winner in both looks, feel and sound.

Man I gotta hit t100 again … starting to think something was wrong with the fitting head or shaft I was using at golf galaxy.  So many ppl are raving about the feel it’s making me second guess.  Ordered a 7 iron in my specs for testing too

I was blown away by the T100S feel as well. T200 didn’t wow me but it did feel different. I haven’t seen the new P790 but I bet the T200 is quite a bit slimmer all around.

Has anyone started receiving their orders yet? I was able to place an order when Titleist came to my club and fit our pros about 6 weeks ago. Wondering when those start arriving.

They will ship out last week of august, unless there are delays due to components. I ordered through my rep the week before release and the order says shipping 8/26. We’ll see I guess

Might be a silly way of thinking, but I'm a low ball hitter. Has anyone bought the T100s and had them bent 2* weak? They would be same lofts as T100, but they should launch higher if I am reading the comparisons correctly.

This would be the only reason why i would go this route. I’m a high speed high spin player but the t100s would leave large gaps at the bottom of my bag. I bent my current mp20 hmb 3/4 iron 2 deg weak. Similar to the t100s they have lower CG to help elevate the ball due to the strong lofts. My long irons were moon balls. So bending irons like that weak was a horrible idea for me. But, I’m your instance of having issues getting the ball up i think this will do what you’re trying to do. It will lower the offset and add bounce but you’re launch would be higher. Just my 2 cents.

Appreciate that. I'm thinking this would be a solid move for me. I'm good with lower offset, I fight a draw. I'm not sure if bounce would be an issue or not.

If you’re steep bounce is your friend. Depends on what type of conditions you play in but, more times than not added bounce isn’t an issue.

The guys at TXG addressed this on the Live feed on the T100 release. They did not have a T100s yet to test, but they talked about bending them 1 degree week for a high speed player that wanted a higher launch, but wasn't looking for maximum distance. Not sure if this helps, but look at their YouTube for the T100 release.

I saw my pro's T100S and they do look very nice, he had a tournament last 2 days so he hasn't played with them yet. He used his new T200 3 iron and loves it already.

Any thoughts on the plastic back of the T200? Seems a bit odd, cheap even, for a Titleist iron. Not really what I expect from them.

Slumming it tonight in my 9 hole game and moving forward with my 716 CB / MB combo until the T100's arrive. I figured I might as well refamiliarize myself with this profile so I can seamlessly put them in the bag when they are delivered. I also played with them for the first time in a while on Sunday morning and shot a 78 with a plugged lost ball double on a hole. I'm an 8 for reference.

Not likely, but, for me, I am replacing my AP3's (6-GW) with 2021 T200's.

Ok, i am probably the only one who is going to play the T300 with the Tensei AM graphite shafts. Blowing the minds of all the WRXers, no one else plays that light of shafts 😂

Who cares, get what works for you.  I almost feel the same about the new T200, everyone seems to be going 100/100s, but I need some launch and a little forgiveness

Those of you who are going T100S or T200…how are you handling gapping at the bottom end of your bag?

 

I’ve played 52/56/60 for years and am very happy with the yardages I hit but with the PW at 44/43 I’m gonna have an 8’ gap (considering my P7MC is 47’ it is almost an extra club gap)

 

Current Bag make up is:

Driver

4 wood

3 Hybrid

4-PW

52/56/60

 

Theres no room for an extra club…I was tempted to drop the 4 iron but my course has lots of low branches and it’s my punch out club!!

I am lucky, lofts pretty much match my Mavrik Pro irons(T200),play 53/57 or 52/56 after the 48* set GW. I have no need for a true LW, 56/57 gives me all I need
