Total distance, he's not epically further than the top 5% of PGA Tour pros. His mishits brings him back to the field somewhat. His ballspeed drops 10-15mph on mishits and spin higher.

Bryson does carry his driver further than anyone TRYING......we don't know what Finau can do .......Rory USE to carry driver far.....DJ can move it but PURE carry BD is the leader CLEARLY

And you say he takes lines no one else can and carries the ball longer. Well I provided you with actual statistics that prove he isn’t the longest, and if he is taking lines no one else can or carrying the ball longer than others it’s not making much of a difference consider he isn’t doing much of anything in most tournaments.

So the data proves what he is doing with his 5* driver and one length clubs is hurting him, especially with his wedge game. Armlock will be banned eventually, green reading books are on their way out. He won’t be able to make a putt soon enough.

His caddy left him and his equipment manufacturer will be next. I guess he’ll have to design and build his own clubs in his basement this winter.

So, your opinion is he takes crazy lines and carries the ball the farthest. Prove it. You can’t.

Again, I’ll take Rory, Dustin, or Wolff off the tee 100/100 times over Bryson. You can keep making excuses for Bryson to try to justify your opinion considering you have no actual data to support your opinion.

Wolff, yes. 🏴‍☠️

There's that bomber, I forgot his name, that I just saw, who might be able to take gonzo lines. Such a stable swing for someone who nukes. Not sure his status on the PGA Tour though. I'd love to see him go HAM on crazy lines.

With all due respect, him pushing Cobra isn’t the issue/problem. He’s a perfectionist and is pushing Cobra R&D to build him what he wants. That’s great, no issues… The problem you have these conversations in private!

What if it was a calculated move?

Wolff, yes. 🏴‍☠️

To sum up your post...

"I hate Bryson and I'm going to go off on irrelevant tangents to the discussion at hand."

Have a good day. I hope you find an outlet for your obvious, biased hate.

You talk rubbish. The orange days were poor but F9 onwards Cobra have been up there. The irons are excellent especially the CBs. Berkshire rips it and won with the same head Bryson uses so there’s nothing wrong with head in terms of pop.Every new release cobra have in past 3 years has been applauded. There’s nothing wrong with the equipment in fact the only company I ever had issues with in terms of poor manufacturing were TM when I worked in golf. I’m not saying it s the best ever for everyone but I absolutely would it more than competes.

I talk opinion.

Feel free to disagree.  Who on Tour is in the Cobra stable at the moment?  (I'll answer my own here - Rick "The 'Stache" Fowler, BDC and one Mr. Jason "Milk Toast" Dufner.)  If they are pumping out great equipment and have the ability to support their Tour players as expected, why aren't more guys hitching their wagon to Cobra?

Building quality equipment and having the engineering ability and capability are different issues.  Bridgestone builds quality equipment.  But are they a large enough company to really move the boundaries of innovation?

I liked their equipment, when they were part of Acushnet.  When Cobra was sold off it became all sizzle and no steak to me.  It appeared to be marketed to the Rickies.  Splash and flash but lacking the innovation and important features that other companies were putting into their clubs.

It's pretty clear you never hit Amp Cell Pros or any version threafter.

Cobra was second fiddle in the Acushnet hierarchy.

No kidding.  Acushnet bought a small (comparatively) Australian golf company to go with their other brand, arguably the largest, most well known golf brand in the world, Titleist.

Having used Bridgestone I d say Cobra outperforms in every department. Cobra have made some awesome equipment. It’s untrue to say otherwise. Titleist TM and Callaway have issued some turd

It would still be bad but if we are going to be forced to see that hairdo, if Cam Smith wanted to wash his hair that would be great.
