PING i210 replacement when?

If the patent pics are of the i220, which from my eye they are, I think the "rod" will be made from multiple materials, maybe tungsten on the ends and elastomer in the middle.  That's what the patent pics seems to show anyway.  Just making an educated guess....

Great looking iron, as others said very Ibladish. Wanted to love the I59, tried them several times but did not get along with them. Hopefully those feel better, and if Ping proposes the MMT shafts….

I'm going to probably end up 4-U, with Stiff 105's… and then swap as conditions dictate. Like you though, the 5&6 should see a lot of time. I've struggled mightily with my 5 iron again this winter. It's just not the right club in soft and cold.

 

Now just need to figure out whether to go power-spec or not. Likely no, but the bounce profile looks initially to not be too bad. 🙂
