This older guy looked like he was from Ukraine or something. He got up and walks toward the guy and the young guy starts doing all these boxing moves. The old guy steps in and just throws some insane backhand and sends the guy across the pier. Guy gets up and like takes off onto South Street. He prolly ran all the home on the FDR! 🤣

 I think the big thing as you age is that you are more comfortable with certain techniques and practice those

I don't want to get into founder territory, but I was a pretty good AAU boxer

Even with age I can still hook off a jab and throw good body shots( no rando ever protects their body and since they always wann throw a right, they are a sucker for left hook )

Off course I am small at 6'1"  180lbs

I have no real fighting training…besides fighting 🤣

 

But past 5 years I do some boxing workouts, some times kick boxing. But just videos 🙄

 

I very chill these days but I got one set of punches I pretty good at be fun to try…

 

Cover, body punch, cover, hook (with same hand), cover, quick jab, cross, jab!

 

I been thinkin join some fighting place.

The worst beating I ever got as a young man was from an old construction worker, ha ha now I am that old construction worker. Slow and everything hurts but if I can get close enough to put hands on it could be ugly for a minute or two. But then again that is why old guys carry guns, too old to take a beating and too slow to run away.

Hopefully smart enough to never let it get that far...is the most important part.

I was a football player, and had a similar body style to Tyson.  Back in my late 20-30's I used to weight in around 220-225.  Held that till my 60ish, when I began losing some strength and composition.  But compared to many of the contractor guys I used to train with, I was nothing special, even small.  Course, it helps to have good European genes too,  😆
