Aesthetics aside, does the mid bend shaft achieve the same thing as a plumbers neck?

Plumbers neck is going to have more toe hang, mid bend or single bend is going to tend to be face balanced. Plumbers neck is going to promote more of a arc in your stroke, face balanced is going to promote straight back straight through.

For now. I’d expect it be a limited release first, then full retail like he did with the 9.5

Been a while since I had a Cameron. Well before the large grip movement. Is this grip more of a conventional size or is it a little bigger?  Say something in between a traditional grip from the 2000’s and a SuperStroke?

 

Finally,  the even versions are more for straight back strokes? And the .5’s for promoting arc paths?

They do it on purpose so you spend more to get a cooler grip and headcover. Lucky for me (or them) they've already got me on the hook so I've got some grips and headcovers laying around. Stock headcovers are always ugly.

Correct and the factory grip is slightly larger than the studio design grips

Without a doubt. I was just about to purchase a WHP and then rolled a ‘21 Phantom X5 and the feel is amazing. I am addicted to putting now. Glad they did not change too much in the ‘22 line for the X5. But… the 7 looks so perfect.
