here is a visual representation: the white x interesect or yellow arrow is cog and white fuzzy thing or blue arrow is geometric center.

That's what I assumed those numbers were but they don't really mean much without some reference to where they are. The X does. Amazing that a driver can be fade biased by that little margin of weight positioning.

Based on that pic and my measurement, sim vcog is very, very close to 1" too

Clay long is the best. I love when he publishes these details. As far as sim vs stealth goes. The sim was a monster for me. So far in my very limited time with stealth it is a monster too. Hope it just has a smidge more stability.

Went to GG and hit the Rogue, Cobra, and Stealth Drivers. I had already preordered the stealth plus 8 degree, but after the Cobra reviews I wasn't so sure I wanted to stay with TM. I currently have a sim2. 

 

The stealth plus for me at 8 degrees gave me the best numbers and felt the best. Second was the cobra ltd ls. Similar numbers but stealth plus felt better. I'm happy that I can game the Stealth Plus knowing that I tried the other ones out at least. I bought the sim2 without trying anything else and had doubts all of last year if the Ping G425 or Radspeed would be better for me.

I was at Dick's tonight and the young lady in the golf section let me pick through the demo cart and hit it, 9 deg + with the Hzrdous Red Stiff.  No data, just got to hit 20 or so balls with it.  I swing driver about 108 for reference.

 

I like what I saw visually, the red is way more subdued in person, not as bright as I was expecting.  Crown looked good to me, overall liked how it setup.  I can see why people say it looks upright, but I think it's a bit of an illusion because of a higher toe?  Not sure, but liked it behind the ball.  

 

Felt a little different, but nothing way different than a typical titanium face, subtle, but there.  I liked it, more of a crack than ting in relation to feel, which leads to the sound.  Again, not way different, but a lower pitched crack.   

 

The interesting thing was how disguised misses felt, heel, toe, bottom rail, all felt very close.  It felt way too long to me at stock length, but I expected that.  

 

Overall I really liked it based upon just hitting it not seeing numbers.  I have a 9 degree X Hzrdous Red on order from another vendor that supposedly shipped. I'm looking forward to hitting on my simulator with a Lin Q Gunmetal 6F5 I built to put in it.  Not expecting any earth shattering results, but something to toy around with and see if I can tighten dispersion

Both my orders are still saying shipped (have for about a week) but no tracking or movment info.  So i"m pretty sure they are not going to leave that wareouse in the Midwest until Feb 2nd in order to arrive ont he 4th. 

But with more snow coming Saturday, I guess it's no big deal!

Has anyone who has hit the Stealth + found that the face is hotter in the lower half similar to the SLDR? The face depth and head shape seem to me to be a SIM/ SLDR hybrid. Curious if that has been anyone's experience with it.

Received my Stealth Plus today. Head weight is 196.5 grams.

 

Seems to be the lightest I've seen which should work nicely when paired up with my Autoflex shaft

I think I got excited too early. My fedex still only shows that a shipping label was created but nothing since. Anticipated ship date was this past Monday and estimated delivery is Wednesday. It's probably just going to stay like that until Feb 2nd. Dang it. Wanted to play with it this weekend.

Got fit into the Stealth + today at carls golfland in Bloomfield. My previous driver was the cobra Radspeed 10.5 with rdx blue 6.5. I hit it with my ventus black velocore 7x and gained 3mph swing speed. Small increase in ball speed. Dispersion was a lot better and my big misses weren’t flying off the radar. The look and feel are perfect imo. We settled on the 9 degree head with a rdx black 6.5 for a no cost back up shaft. It’s a drop ship order, so I have no way to track it unfortunately. I’m hoping I receive it mid February.

Yes, my miss is low and numbers looked better than SIM in my short demo with it.

From looking at side-to-side pics very closely, it looks like the Stealth Plus has a slightly deeper face by a couple of Millimetres, and the sole on the back end is lower to the ground. Very similar overall though, which is good because the SIM2 Ti is awesome!

It's the top look that has the most difference to me. Stealth+ doesn't look closed at setup

Thank You! I search high-n-low each year for clubhead weight. I read somewhere that this head is lighter than my OG Sim and CH speed = BS = Distance! My understanding is that it's most applicable for dead on strikes but still helpful on misses. In the (close to) wise words of Daft Punk...Better. Faster, Stro.....Longer?

So TM is shipping orders to people who can't play them yet lol...it's been in the 60-70s all week and I'm still "in queue". I was hoping it'd come before the 4th so I could get a couple rounds in before a tourney on the 6th.
