Both mine that were ordered on 1/4 still show shipped but no tracking.  So they are still sitting in that Midwest warehouse waiting for tbe Orange and blue truck probably on 2/2 to arrive on the 4th

Yup, definitely. I’m sure many more will be popping up in bags over the next couple of months as more guys do longer-term testing and we see more Free-Agents in different events.

Went into PGA SS to try on some shoes and because all the bays were empty I went to the TaylorMade area to try the Stealth. The guy working there asked what I wanted to hit and I asked about the Stealth. He asked what I was hitting now and he said since I had a dialed in Sim2 the Stealth would not be worth hitting. He said he is seeing slightly higher ball speeds from the Sim2, not the Stealth. Don’t shoot the messenger here…

 

I just left because I don’t want to switch anyway. Haha. Thought his comments were interesting. Everyone should hit it and see if they are really looking to switch.

Right.  But he was playing ping for a long time for a reason.   When you swap from a long time club that works and then start washing balls , it only takes a minute to get in your head and you jump back to comfortable. I’m just saying they’ll need to work on his fitment  most likely to keep him in it.

This has been seen in reviews. Not overly surprising. I had a sim2 for a couple of weeks last year. Good driver. The lack of adjustable weighting turned me away from it. Only had it because TM sent it as a replacement for a cracked sim. I went back to sim after getting another one off bst.

 

I've said it in posts in this thread, if you got on with sim2 then the stealths aren't much of an upgrade. And I don't think TM would push that. 

 

Now, what I saw in stealth+ compared to when i had sim2 was a bit tighter spin window. My miss with sim2 was a pull. It wanted to go straight, not fade. With stealth+, I saw straighter but I was able to move the front weight toe side and get consistent fade spin....but straighter than sim. 

 

Sim2 are really good driver. If they would have had a toe front weight option then I'd have gamed it. 

 

I hit it last year head to head against my sim and they were equal distance...sim2 a bit better dispersion. 

 

Stealth+ vs sim and stealth+ was better on dispersion and a bit longer. I never out drove stealth+. I out drove sim a couple of times by about 10 yards.

Highly highly doubt that. In a day when people stay in previous years version on tour, ive seen just about all of em make the switch to stealth. They wouldnt be doing so if it was slower, or not better in same way.

You don’t think the new material is enough to cause someone to try it ?    It’s fine either way.  I’d like more time with one to judge on course. Shot shape consistency might make me prefer it.  Sim max has a pull in it on a fade , and not very much draw in it on a draw.   For straight holes yay.  For doglegs. Not always preferable.  
 

  But speed vs speed it wasn’t faster for me vs sim 2 max.  Shaft being swapped back and forth between two heads.

Driver still shows as packed but awaiting shipment, expected arrival 2/4. No problem.

 

Anyone order a FW thats been packed up or shipped? 5W order still says in the queue.

I agree with you. Ultimately, we recognize the data will not be substantially different between 2021-2022 models of any brand of driver, like SIM2 and Stealth. That said, it's always worth hitting (at least for fun) as you might like the feel better, you might get better club head speed (as we've seen with many reviewers), or it might make you realize you are happy with what you have.

 

In my case, my driver swing improved a lot in the past year, so I was just refitted from a SIM2 8* (playing at 8.75*) to a Stealth+ 10.5*, which is giving me longer carry and more consistent flight. I'm switching mainly for two reasons: I now fit into a different spec and I found the Stealth a little more pleasing in terms of feel/looks compared to SIM2 (not to say either is bad!).

Has to be that TM simply boxes them up and puts them in a pick up location, regardless of destination. FedEx then puts them in std routing.

Yeah that seems pretty standard for them LOL. Once had a box from Richmond, VA to Northern VA - about an hours drive - routed through Memphis.
