What length are you playing it at? Maybe it’s dropping a bunch on you? I don’t know. I’ve not tried the autoflex and am afraid to jump in blind because results seem to vary wildly.

Yes the shaft is drooping, I caught this yesterday. According to info I have my transition is not smooth enough and my out to slightly in swing is not helping. I’m going to sell this one and move into the 505 XX. That extra stiffness should help under load.

If you were going to use your current shaft and just pop it into the Stealth anyway, which shaft would you order with it with the plan to resell?

Kaili for sure. The best stock shaft without a doubt and would have the best resell.

Or would it be a +$175 ventus black upgrade and sell for 300 as new? Market will probably be flooded with Kai’li Taylor-made-for.

Duh… I was only thinking stock shafts. Now that’s a smart move right there!

I agree this is a good option. I also think the HZRDUS Black/Blue shafts tend to go for a good price.

This is the idea I was looking for…feel like other options might exist too.

Did you ever think of all the costs involved in this?  First off the shafts are not new and you never know what length, grip and tipping people want.  Also, you are not going to get $300 for the shaft maybe $225-$240 then you have PP fees, shipping cost, and having to pack and ship it.  All in you are up like $20 so if that is worth it to you go for it i guess.

If y’all are interested in all things stealth, the bar stool boys and one gal got fitted at the kingdom if you were not already aware. Kind interesting with their head fitters talking about average swings

It’s not a high end shaft. The tx version uses more expensive materials than the other flexes. MCA said it was the real deal shaft, then when pushed more for info they said the softer flexes use cheaper materials. Call it what you want.

This real deal or not stuff has been well argued..maybe take it to DMs?

Some may love or hate the red face but can we all agree the Tour hats with the red face on them are hideous?

In this particular case I couldn’t care any less, so zero need for a DM but appreciate the suggestion all the same.

Using the Stealth Plus with the Ventus Velocore Blue shaft.  Loving the combo.  Very stable.  Easily hits the back fence at the driving range (250+ yards out).  Sweet spot on the driver face feels larger.  Definitely more forgiving than my SIM2.

I'm not surprised how people like the Kai Li stock shaft which I agree they are nice but when you are talking about the real deal if anyone is interested in a killer combo. I just had one built for me and it's the Tensei 1K Pro White as this shaft is so smooth and stable that you can go at it as hard as you like in your swing or back off a little and you still get a consistent and stable feel. Spin is low but then looking up the ball seems to just stay in the air as this shaft is a pure joy and such a great combo with my Stealth Plus 10.5 head. When it comes to after market shafts people can say what they want about the new Ventus TR Blue which is a favorite as well but this Tensei 1K Pro White is a favorite thats should not be ignored as this shaft performs so well in feel and consistency that if anyone is looking for a smooth feeling shaft but still wants that tip stability without it feeling like a board will find this to be the best of both worlds.

Ok ran quickly out to spend 30 min with the stealth plus 9* ,  the demo said 9 but I asked someone else there at the store if they thought it looked to have more than 9 of loft compared to my sim9 , they agreed , I know highly technically assessment

banged it against the above 9*og sim head and a tour issue 8* m6

shafts ; diamana d+ limited 70tx , kuro kage xd 70tx , accra m5 475 x

tmag tpx 5 balls and hit in a pair of sperry boat shoes

- spin is slightly higher than sim og all 9* loft tested , the m6 is an 8* TI head I know that’s not apples to apples

- honestly I’m a TMAG fan boy I thought the stealth felt like sh*t , needs hot melt badly , could have been the test club , additionally I didn’t look at the ones on the rack but the demo was extremely up right.

- Ball speeds abs distance,,,,,my ti 8* was the longest but unfortunately I don’t play enough for that demanding of a head , she’s a fantastic scramble monster, ……back to reality ,,,,,.ball speeds , stealth did ink the others out for me at 175 , others where 174/3  ,   They where all right there in terms of distance, launch goes to the stealth , esp vs the OG sim , stealth launches like the sim 2 max IMOP

forgiveness, I didn’t feel either one of the 3 heads , offered any more forgiveness than the other .  8* was a little more difficult bc of loft

wish they would have had an 8* head to test

my 2 cents for what they are worth

Is TM tipping the Kai’li 60 S and X in the Stealth off-the-rack offerings? Understand in the past they have done a 1” tip on stock offerings. Can anyone confirm?

Sorry if this was posted before in the thread, didn’t see it.

  • 1 month later...

Local shop had a trade in program so I got a stealth plus for basically nothing so pulled the trigger,

Had a sim2 I really liked but read about this thing and it go the curious, now I am unsure...

Played the sim2 8* head at 8.75 and it was great, also had a heavier weight in the front so it was a 200gr head, '

This stealth is a 9* head and weighs just under 197gr. I find It launches super low, feels light and dead off the face compared to the sim2.

Have an 8 gr weight coming to replace the 4gr that is in there now, hoping the heavier swingweight makes it feel better. kinda of disappointed and have some guilt for ditching the sim2 at the moment.....
