@atursky Are these Miura irons different, vs the Miuras that Adam Scott was testing circa May/June2022? (yes i know these have the personal Miura 'hanko' chop/stamp, whereas the previous irons didn't ... but are they different?)

Man, that offset is perfect. There are a lot of PGA Tour pros who don’t have the golfwrx offset allergy. The pros like the framing of the ball and launch boost in long irons.

How do pros that swing as hard as they do, handle the KBS shafts bending at the tips?  Do they get them swapped out more often?

Right there with ya. Since I started playing, I just haven’t liked the look of that kind of offset. Different strokes! (But I still can’t wrap my mind around someone saying these look better at address w/that offset! 🤯 haha)

JT funny you mention that.  Scott said he wants more offset than what most blades offer these days and his original Miura's had specifically designed those with added offset.  

 

Also that badge means the top dude forged these.

I never heard of this.  They actually bend on you?  I have seen KBS snap, like Phils snapped before.

I was ridiculed (ok I’m exaggerating😜) last time I said this and I’m gonna say it again. I like his Titleist blades better 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've re-built and re-shafted a ton of irons sets over my lifetime and when golfers come to me with KBS shafts (especially stronger golfers), the tips are very often bent.  Not saying I haven't seen it with other brands as well, but I can almost always count on KBS tips being bent more often than others.

I’ve heard of this happening. Pretty sure it was here on this site actually.

And to my post you quoted and your response. I never thought he asked and certainly don’t think he cares. It was just my personal opinion on the different heads 😊 That is how this works right. We see a post and then comment/give our opinion??? Or am I doing it wrong? 😆

Its miura sans personal hand stamp. Means he approves

It's mostly been covered, but the character is usually  read as "Ka(tsu)" or "Shou"), and means "win" or "to be better".

It's the first character of Miura Katushiro's name, so it's like his stamp of approval.

 

I would even guess that on these clubs, it means that he took an some role in making them, like grinding them or supervising the grinding, but that's purely speculation. I think he's about 82 or 83 now, so who knows?

The stamp only goes on clubs he personally ground at some point
