New Mizuno t24 wedges

The T22 has been the best mizuno wedge I’ve ever played, possibly the best wedge period I’ve ever played. I’m really curious if I should wait to order a set of these or jump on another set of T22s before they are gone. Any side by side comparisons out there yet?

Can someone refresh my memory -> does Mizuno offer lighter B-Weight heads in wedges for longer builds ?

I like to play my wedges single-length at 36.0" and have to drill out the hosel to remove as much weight as possible.  If I could order wedges at +3/4" with a lighter head, that would be ideal.

Finally! They stamped the loft on the sole. Might sound stupid but the loft on the back of the T22 was annoying.

Definitely agree! My high school teenager has the T20 blue wedges that we got at a big discount on in a sale bin and that was my biggest pet peeve is it’s hard to pull them from the bag because you can’t see the loft stamped on the sole.

I never understood this issue. Do you not organize your bag? I don't even look at the club when I pull it, it's always the same club in the same place.

Of course I do. But most high school golf walking bags only have a 4-way divider and the wedges move and mix around there in the bottom slot

This is a good question, I recently received some T22s built 3/4" over so same length with PX 6.5s and they don't feel overly heavy at all, the build sheet just had 'best' for swing weight. Not sure if they are going with lighter heads though.

In the first picture of this thread does the 60 degree wedge have an M stamped on it?

The t22’s are outstanding!  One of the best looking and feeling wedges I’ve played.  It looks like these are going to continue to be as good with more sole grind options.  Mizuno has a lot of good things going right now.

Great looking wedges. I replace mine yearly, of course, and have been in the T series wedges for several cycles. Went to the Vokeys this year at the urging of my fitter (I'm the type that usually just goes with what they put in my hand, as I'm not a huge tech guy). They're great wedges, but the feel is off to me. I didn't think going from forged to cast would matter, and I guess from a performance standpoint, it doesn't, but I'm surprised that I definitely notice the difference. I'll hit a shot and think I've shanked it but nope, it's just that hard face. I'll probably go back to the T series to start the year when I reload.

It's sad they cannot get clubs out the door at a decent rate and the horror stories of build issues is just not acceptable in this day and age. I am interested in these but will wait and buy off the rack or secondary market.

The shop I buy from is a component shop, which I’m fortunate to have.  They do everything from scratch on the build.

*EDIT: look below posts for correction!*

Yes they do offer B weighted T22 wedges. I was asked if I wanted to make use of that option by Mizuno UK through Golfonline when I ordered a custom build set.

Regarding the loft stamping, that’s a non issue to me. I ordered the colored stamping option and had them stamp PW, GW, SW in yellow, green and red on the back for the different lofts. Easy to distinguish in the bag. I never look at the silver graphics with the loft number.

I looked through my mail, found the conversation and I apologize!
That was back when I ordered the T20, not the T22! So you’re most likely correct and I am wrong. Sorry for the confusion.

The T20 were offered as „NSS head“ (standard weight) and „USL head“ (lighter weight). IMG_4509.jpeg.571b637172c779cc82facd49bed4085a.jpeg

Doesn't quite look as matted out as last version. More like a bronze brushed look than a matte copper coating. Might just be the photo.

First thing I'd is take the black t24 paint infill out to make these look even cleaner.

Hopefully this is the end of having to look through all the loft / bounce specs to work out which ones are the actual base wedges.
Ordering a 54 wedge & finding out on delivery that it’s actually a 56 bent strong and that it is now massively offset was not a good cust service experience….

This is 100% correct. Hopefully those days are behind them. Haven't bought a mizuno wedge in years because of it.

Looking at face progression, the bending weak and strong continues.
