Him dropping f-bombs at players 'holding him up' when his own pace of play and antics have been a point of contention on multiple occasions isn't intimidating, it's clownish. Rory got called out for demolishing a tee box recently, and Clark has for his, so it's not like anyone's playing favorites. 

 

You want to intimidate, do it with your game. There's nothing real about mouthing off when you know no one can give you the fist in the mouth you deserve because they have to keep their own careers in mind. With all the rants you've gone on here I know there's no way you'd let him curse you out from the tee box behind and hit into you then just call it "sportsmanship".

 

Edit: Also, explain to me how it's intimidation to treat your own caddie like garbage, curse him out, and take your taxes out of his cut so you feel them less.

But he has a point. The tour once had dozens of characters of all sorts. Including jerks, drunks, cheats, and obnoxious clowns

 

Now, it seems the entire tour has morphed and melded into one basic character. Kinda like how all cars look the same now lol

 

At least Toasty give mix it up a little!

That's why I watch. I'm happy no matter who wins (well mostly) but I love to see courses I'll probably never play. Watching pros struggle also reminds me of how much I suck at golf.🤣

I’m much more about the course than the golfer, or even the golf nowadays. 
 

I’ve read prob almost every book on course architecture and been lucky to play or walk many of golf’s best.  If I had my choice in preferred job, starting over, it would be to learn from Coore and Crenshaw, and Doak (since Maxwell, MacKenzie, Tillinghast, Raynor, MacDonald, and Flynn are not around) and then start my own gig.

The really brought some interest to the green complexes when they redid it. It was a good course before but was much simpler around the greens. Kind of a nightmare when the Bermuda comes back in though 😅.
