Sure are a lot of M3 and M4 going up for resale

I thought before the season started the M3 And M4 would not go over well this year. Hitting them early on in the simulator they did not feel good at all. Seeing a lot pop up on the bst right off the bat. Might be the end of Taylormade run

I thought they are both improved in the looks and feel department. Unfortunately ball speed is slow compared to the Callaway products.

I agree, your common consumer doesn’t want to give up distance for accuracy. Distance wins every time

Funny enough I thought the Rogue was akin to swinging a basketball. I'll stick with my '17 M2's but I saw nothing wrong with the new models.

there are also a lot of AP2, PXG, MP 18 and G400s for sale.

Whenever a new club comes out tons of them show up on BST

Not that big a deal.....i have M3 and it's whateves....sounds bit better but idk $500 for same driver with muted sound....

Had bunch of credit so got one...its good but nothing substantial and I really wasn't thinking it was Gna be....i like buying new chit

Yeah, I'm with you. They look good, but no better than the M1/2. The ones I hit didn't perform any better than my 2016 M1. Exactly the same, actually. Why would anyone buy the new one when it's the same as the old one just with new paint? Twist face doesn't do a thing, it's just marketing like everything else.

Happens every year. Look back over the years and you’ll see similar threads pertaining to the epic, m1, Ltd, etc. Lots of guys buy the latest and greatest because they can’t resist the urge, then bail as soon as possible while the market is still highest.

Tried it, keeping the 2016 M1 in the bag. When i tested that against the R9 I was gaming before there was a serious difference, but since then each year has been very similar so staying put for now.

Just swapped my Epic for G400Max and play F7 fairway and hybrids.

No desire to change for foreseeable future.

I actually use BST as a resource for making purchase decisions. Want to find out why some one is selling these particular items and what they have in the bag that is replacing what they are selling?! ;)

I agree with the BST stuff. I think some people buy new stuff without hitting them and then in turn realize it is not the club for them. So the new stuff ends up for sale. For me, these days, I think you are asking a lot if you think a driver a year newer is going to be noticeably different than last years model. I you have a good fit M1 you are probably not seeing any major results. Maybe feel, or looks may be better that may be it. Some do like a shiny new toy every year though. I found the M3 to not go any further than my M1 but the dispersion seemed better for me for the M1.

I'm not really seeing it. I found 1 overpriced M4 head, and a handful of M3s. Tons of M1s, M2s, and Epics though.

I’m a ho for sho. And this is the first Driver release that I’ve beem totally turned off before it hit shelves. Just doesn’t seem to be any pop to the release . No buzz at all. I predict Tm releases something else in 2018 to take up the slack. Epic rogue is going to continue the epic domination.

Our pro shop had a full TM demo day the day the m3 m4 hit the racks and they sold 11 drivers. Sure that’s 11. But with outdoor trackman and a brand new Driver all day for demo you’d think they would sell more than that. So I ask how many rogues sold that day. 7. He almost sold same as TM on a TM demo day. That tells me a lot of guys waited to demo the Tm product and came in to buy drivers that day. And Tm didn’t impress because you have to know that nobody was demoing Callaway outside with the Tm reps. Anyway. Before you flame me. I’ve had an m1 in my bag almost all 2017 and still do.

I have noticed it but they sell almost immediately it seems. It did happen with Epic, and now the 917s are starting to pop up, but probably in anticipation of the 919. In this case, I think people are just trying to sell while the M3/4 is hot and they can still get top dollar after realizing the tech is all hype. Lots of other companies out there release a club or two without making ridiculous distance or accuracy claims.. I wish TM would start taking this marketing approach at some point and just continue to release good performing drivers that speak for themselves.

No, you didn't. Just thought it was a big leap to go from "I don't like this club" to "TM's run may be ending."

As if BST is a good representation of the market as a whole.

Partly because half the people who buy clubs don't always get fit. I noticed recently that sometime head/shaft combo changes and I don't always hit the new club head as good with the old shaft.

Also, some people like to try and then switch. It happens with every club, every year, and it seems to always be a thread about is this one a dud?

I've learned that there is no rhyme nor reason to BST. It's a ho's fix dispensary. I think some buy clubs, never hit them, but get a fix by reselling on BST even if for a loss.

You wouldn't flip your M3/M4 for some obscene profit while it's still officially unreleased? Seems like a smart move to me.

Gotta clear space in the bag for the new m5/6 line coming soon!

I hear they are going to be some low spin bombers with a new technology that will revolutionize golf and leave the competitors playing catch-up once again.

Either that, or it will be a highly similar club with a new paint job that will marginally improve numbers for some golfers looking for greater distance and lower spin, as long as you have the right shaft.

Or the SOUND, my god the SOUND it makes. Too much tin can, not enough Harley Davidson. Or vice versa. It's always something about the sound.
