How much money do you think would need to be thrown at each guy (Koepka and Bryson) to convince them to commit to a charity boxing match against each other? I would love to see those two battle it out in the ring. There would be no losers, only winners (that is, for the fans, at least).

Yet another case of what have you done for me lately vs the player riding the hot hand.

 

When JT won Sentry, there were segments on Golf Channel asking if he was the best player in the world. McIlroy was finishing in Top 5 however many times in a row and the talking heads were telling us how he was far and away the best player in the game. Bryson has had a decent run but he has won less that Brendan Todd has this season and for all his long balling, rode a hot putter to actually get the win last week.

 

Let’s see where we are in December once the majors have been decided. Even better, lets see where we are this time next year. My prediction is that Bryson has as many majors as he does now and we are talking about someone else.

DeShamoo has never finished better than t15 in a major. Honestly if he makes t10 in one major this year then it’s a huge step up, let’s see if he can do it. You can get away with 350 yard drives that are 50 yards offline on some courses, that’s not a strategy that’s likely to win the US Open though.

It seemed to work for Brooks last year at Bethpage Black, which was setup similarly to a US Open, and he wasn't hitting it 350.

highly disagree. Augusta demands exceptional short game control and Bryson doesn't have it right now. With that said Bryson has made some big time changes and I enjoy watching him smash the ball.
