Next up, a Walter Hagen WH003 by Tad Moore.

 

It copped a couple of scrapes in transit (which Ebay have come to the party over, good on them).

But I've managed to hide them in the photos. And the face is beautiful.

 

Another beauty, and if anyone can tell me anything about when Tad made these with/for Hagen I'd be all ears.

 

 

 

I was looking into one of these a while back, from what I found out is this was from the 2005-2006 era when Tad moore Made these for the Walter Hagen line of clubs for Dicks sporting goods, these putters are hard to find so a good grab by you, they made 2-3 different models I believe.... I heard this is a great feeling putter tho....

I have hit a bunch of SC, Odyssey, and TM putters this week. I thought many of them looked good but I could not hit the broad side of a barn with any of them. Played 18 with my SC yesterday and four putted for bogie on a par 5.

So today after trying all the Spider X a third day along with everything else (all in 35 inches like my SC gamer) I tried this 34 inch X. I started putting decent immediately. I don’t know if it will last, but just maybe maybe maybe this was a set up problem with the 35 inch putters.

I know this one came home with me so wish me luck. After 6 holes yesterday with my SC, I had 4 greens in regulation, 1 before regulation, and I was 5 over par.

At least the bar is low :-))

Okay, so I wanted something a bit special from Kari Lajosi. I own a few of his putters already including a Damascus that he forged himself from scratch.

 

This one is a full Copper Billet with a Timascus insert. It is a flow neck at 350g and came with an exotic Ostrich grip and plush leather Tiffany Headcover to match the paintfill. My photos don't do justice to the colours in the insert - rich reddish purple hues, truly awesome. Kari also included a Copper ball marker which is also spectacular.

 

I have already put some ghost tape on the sole and she's in the bag this Sunday! :-)

Just traded for a Betti Minovai Limited Run. Previous owner had Bastain Milled put a flow neck on instead of the double bend, which I LOVED and had Putter Spa do some refinish and paint fill work. I got it and had Embrace Putters re-do the paint fill.
