Recently purchased a Ping Anser Milled 0. Debating if I want to send it off to have some customization done to it or keep it au natural. None the less. Been eyeing the putter for awhile and finally got one for a steal.

I posted an RSX 001 in this thread ages ago that I have since sold (also ages ago). Always wanted another one, but if there's anything I wanted more than another 001, it's a tour issue only RSX 2.

 

 

Great looking putter. I have rolled the RSX before - a bit clicky for me. Why did u sell the RSX 001?

Out of the box the fit and finish is very good, though I would have expected as much considering the price.

Their DLT tech is not at all noticeable when your setting up to hit, though when you look for it you can clearly see the 4 discrete loft zones on the face of the putter.

 

First impressions holding it are that it has a good weight to it, if you like ~350g head weights this will feel right at home.

A big surprise was the stock grip out of the box. Its a midsize, stichback pistol grip with a texture and feel that for me, does a great job of promoting a light grip.

 

Weather and work means that I haven't had many opportunities to really put it to the test. I've been able to try out some strokes with it, and I've found it to be very responsive. You can tell where you hit the face of the club without needing to look. It also does seem to get a good job of getting the ball rolling with minimal skid.

 

That's all I've got so far. Once I get some days that are warm enough and not raining I'll be able to get a more comprehensive review to you.

I recently bought a Toulon Long Island putter from the Callaway PreOwned store (love that place) not only because I grew up on Long Island but it's the kind of putter that I like if and when I use a blade style putter. I've been using a mallet head putter (Exo Rossie) for a long time but I brought the Toulon along with me to a recent club fitting at Club Champion. After hitting both putters with the SAM putter monitor, the fitter said that I hit the Toulon better and it matches my stroke better. So, I've been taking it to the course and he was right. It took a little while to get used to the lighter, blade but the results speak for themselves. So, an impulse buy turned out to be my gamer.

Just got a Byron Morgan DH89, black, mimics a Scotty 009, last week picked up a Piretti Potenza II Black Onyx, just took out paint fill and redoing them this weekend. And this week, just got back in the mail from "The Golf Garage". Kyle redid three putters for me in Cookies and Cream. Miura KM-009, Kingston KP2, and Scotty Pro Platinum Mid Sur. I need to put the shafts back on then will take some pics. Plan to put black graphite shafts on the Miura and the Scotty.

 

Got way more waiting for me to finish paintfilling.. lol

Stumbled upon this fang. Just looks perfect to my eye. Have had a Newport in the bag for 2 straight years. This might kick it out. Have always thought the #7 was a good idea, and it has a lot of success on tour, but when I look down on #7 I just hate the look. This is much like a #7 but smoother lines and I love the look, weird how small changes make a big difference.

It's the older White Hot RX V-Line Fang. Can pick a new one up for cheap now.
