What putter did you just buy ?

Finally pulled the trigger on a Bloodline, the blade version. I loved the Bridgestone True Balance from a few years ago, but this is definitely an upgrade in feel and better tech having the shaft widen rather than that foam yellow one.

Got mine yesterday. Setting up behind the ball showed me how often I mis-align the putter. Still gotta read the break and speed, and still gotta hit it!. But I purchased a putting mat, mirror guide, Callaway ERC balls, and finally watched my Aim Point video. This is the year I get better at putting. Last year was bunker play and that went really well. This year I want to make the short ones and eliminate most three-putts on the longer ones.

Regarding the Bloodline, it's not particularly heavy, but the shaft weighs almost nothing and the grip is a simple and thing wrap. This give it a heavy swing weight, but not a heavy gross weight. That has fooled me a few times, leading me to hit it short.

This winter in Chicago has been awful. My streak of consecutive months with at least one round played was snapped at 47 and it's supposed to get down to a high of 12 in a couple of days with snow in the forecast for four straight days. Thank God for being able to buy putters and roll in the living room. I just bought a Piretti Cottonwood II with a UST Mamiya Frequency shaft. I prefer a sight dot to a line on top and the extra head weight (365 grams) is great for faster greens. I'm going to swap out the current SS 1.0 grip for a Gripmaster paddle.

Paid 15$ for a bag of clubs I spotted this immediately. Not real valuable now but back in my teens Odyssey was the putter everyone was using.

The most underrated version of the 2-ball ever made. The White Steel insert put a better roll on the ball than the beloved White Hot.

Waited months for Odyssey to finally release their Stroke Lab putters only to find that I didn't love them.. it was hard and I tried so hard to love their #7 and/or Double-Wide, but it just didn't feel right.

Ended up pulling the trigger on a Scotty Cameron Futura 5W and couldn't be happier! I'm currently exploring some customization options regarding the length and trying to find a viable option of adding toe-hang to the putter.. I know I probably should have gotten a putter that has toe hang the begin with, but I just loved the 5W. (That and the weight of the mallet was comfier for me than the Newports)

Picked up a Nike Method Core MC-04W to challenge my current MC-02W. Loving the wide-flanged rectangular blades lately, I think I'm hoping to stumble into a poor man's Evnroll ER2.

Send it off to get a flow neck welded on coolest way to get some toe hang.

Well it's pretty much as good as bought. Just have to fill the order form and pay this week just excited for it. Will be ordering an Edel E-3, as for what it will look like that I'm still not 100% sure yet but have an idea in mind for sure.

Though much is taken much abides;
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

This one has been around the board a few times, and it has landed here. Anyone have an idea about the finish?

The grip, shaftband and yellow paintfill suggests 2006, but the finish suggests 2008. Then there's the toe stamp and the black paintfill.

My guess is that it is a 2006 that was sent back for a refinish.
