Sold my my Bettinardi stuff 6 months ago to fund a T10 Button Back. Wasn’t happy with it and so glad I’m back into a BB0 Tri. Best putters on the market.

It is an a tri-sole with rounded bumpers is pretty uncommon as well.

Finally got to play 54 holes with this putter over the last two days. I have to say first, I am historically a blade style guy.. I have used some mallets in the past like the original two ball and craz-e putter. More recently, I did use a tour issue Toulon Memphis for a bit.. but ultimately went back to my trusty blade, which is a bettinardi bb1f for reference.

 

Looks: love how it looks.. size, color, shape (I was going in looking for a spider so not shocking). The alignment line grew on my pretty quick, since I have always been used to more of a small line or blank flange. Inspires a lot of confidence getting aligned well.

 

Feel: very unique feel... almost like a slightly firmer Toulon, but a very “solid/muted” noise. It is almost hard to describe for me, but I grew to like it a lot. Anything off center feels a bit more “dud” where as most milled putters like my betti blade may feel more “harsh” but still softer. I play the TP5 yellow and that cover feels great off the face. If you play a much firmer ball it may not be as good of a feel.

 

Performance: breaking this into two items, the putter’s and mine. For the putter itself, it is very forgiving, something I am ashamed but not surprised to have to say at this point. Putting has left me the last year or so, so finding something that can help is nice. Any mishit held its line well and didn’t lose as much pace as my blade. Maybe this is across most mallets, but it was a consistent feel and performance on any and all putts.

 

For me, made a lot of 5-7 foot putts and rolled several 20+ footers over the edges. Feel much much better about my putting moving forward. Love this putter!

I just bought a new Scotty special select Newport.  It’s a beautiful putter and I really like it but,... did he really have to put an ad for his custom shop on the shaft band?  Like seriously?

I could never get the right feel of the older milled Scotty Cameron’s. The 2018 select series in my opinion are great. Sent out to the custom shop for a redo on the paint as red is not my style. Pics do not do it enough justice...
