I bought an older putter and have been using it now for a month. It is as good as anything out there, and I am a good putter.

The gem? A Callaway S2H2 The Tuttle.

Better than the last 6 putters I bought new in the past 6 years, including Odyssey, Cameron, Bettinardi, & Toulon.

Mind you, I putt straight back and thru without arc so that may be significant.

Now that is interesting!  Really curious to hear what you think of the milling on there.  Also, those old Pings seem to be really light.  Wonder how the face milling effected that.

Yeah, 325g before the milling. I've been struggling with heavier putters as of late. My BB8W has really been killing me as of late...also tried Cleveland Frontline #2 and Toulon Austin. Really just trying to have something nice since my go to is a $25 Crossbax #1 that I refinished. I still don't know if I will ever putt better with anything else but I keep trying. 

 

Maybe I'll try a mallet one day. Really love the Odyssey Bird of Prey but the neck does not suit my arc.

Recently bought a T22 Fastback 1.5 and a phantom 5.5 to complement my Epon I-33.  Trying to talk myself off of the ledge on pulling the trigger on an H20 11.5 to add a larger mallet to the lineup.  anser, mid mallet, wingedmallet, mallet.

The golf shop had a bunch of Ping Sigma 2 putters on sale, and one was the Valor 42" arm lock. I just could not get the arm lock out of my head and picked it up.

I'm a Spider Tour players but had been looking to purchase the Spider X... so decided yesterday after seeing the NBA headcovers I'd pull the trigger.

 

I'm from the UK but wife is Canadian... Her favourite colour is purple and she loves basketball and the Raptors, so thought this would be cool.

 

Also, we're moving to Canada next year after 7 years here 🙂

I just picked up another 1959 Karsten Anser X (probably my 10th one over the years).  It's off to PING for some mods (lie and grip) and it'll be bag for the foreseeable future...

After talking to one of the guys at my club who’s been doing it for a little while, going to give an arm lock a shot. Picked it up for cheap off of CPO, cut it to 38” and put a JumboMax on.

So funny. I did the same exact thing. Bought for $140 off CPO, bought the jumbomax 17 grip (black colorway though), and cut it to 38 inches. I also found aftermarket 35 gram weights that I swapped out. Never putted better.

So I didn't expect to buy another putter for awhile until I came across this today. I had been looking for a Bobby Grace 2200 Softie in excellent shape until I saw this. A 2200 BeNi with no insert, milled face and all. Knowing how much I love a heel shafted blade, pretty sure this will end up being my gamer for years to come. A little bit of the custom Anser mixed in for slow greens too. Let me know if you have seen this version before. I'm extremely excited right now!
