Callaway reps lose their jobs when they allow pics to be taken!! Happened with 816 Alpha DBD

i'm sure we will see pictures "accidentally" leak now that the M1 has been "accidentally" leaked. hell - the name, some of the catch words - EPIC, JAILBREAK, the number of new patents, color, etc are out for public knowledge.

let's not pretend this is our first rodeo...the pictures will surface (quicker now thanks to TM M1).

LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE LOST THEIR JOB IF THAT IS ACCURATE

So what does Jailbreak and the dots mean? I'm behind in the count.

So they bought Toulon for the driver face technology?

Could you explain what aspect of Toulon Callaway would have been interested in for face tech?

I worked in the industry for a long time and I still don't totally understand why OEMs frown on early pics. See I think they have released "just enough" here. A little taste to drum up some conversation and excitement. Probably not necessary right now to release 360* views, specs, shaft options, etc. OEMs need to relax on this stuff. Once the reps start showing it, there are going to be leaks no matter what you do.

So the MOTO face is replaced by the Jailbreak Tech? or a supplement to it? Jailbreak may be the two bars which I assume joins the crown and sole for better rebound as evidenced by the two screws in the forward portion of the sole. Interesting.

Don't mind the look, don't mind the sliding bar.

I want a very light driver like the Fusion and XR16 so I am approaching this one cautiously until we know more.

Love it, but golf will still be golf. None of the "game changers" have really changed it.....

Calloway is positioning themselves nicely.

To be fair, Callaway is the only one that ever actually really did have a "game changer." If you were playing in the mid 90s, you'll remember that the Great Big Bertha added like 25 yards distance to everyone's tee shot overnight. And that was a real 25 yards.

Loved that driver. One of the all-time greats. I games an XTreme fit for several years as well and that was a great product.

Do the new fairway woods and hybrids shafts use the OptiFit hosel or are they fixed into the head like the Fusion's?

Same concept for sure only Jailbreak moves the bars closer to the face and on either side of the center of the face. How much longer before we have .830 across the entire striking surface?

Only thing I can add is that there will be an Epic Driver and an Epic SubZero driver that has a lower CoG and lower spin.

So there will be no Alpha version, or the SubZero name is taking over the Alpha line?

All that carbon fiber with the weight in the back reminds me of the Fusion line - FT-3 especially. Oh, please let the sub zero be a modern FT-3 Tour! That club was DEEP.

Shockingly.. I actually like the way this looks.. not a fan of green but the rest looks pretty cool. The new M1 looks a lot like a Cobra driver to me.

So, the Epic will be 460cc? Will the Epic SubZero be 440cc like the original, or will the new one be 460cc?

Toulon is strictly putter-focused and was acquired just for that segment. Callaway happened upon this concept actually via the gravity-cores and their construction. The Jailbreak idea has been in the works for a number of years. They are seeing higher ball speeds across a larger section of the face. Both are 460cc by measurement.
