What are you going to lead with? That an attorney for Galea's assistant told ESPN that Galea never treated TW with PEDs?

 

That's the fact on which you're going to hang your 'no way TW ever dabbled in PEDs' defense?

 

Facts,

 

 

"Most of the U.S. charges were dismissed as part of Galea's plea, and he agreed to cooperate with investigators and disclose the identities of his patients and their treatments."

 

Where is the benefit to covering for TW and risking his deal. If anything, he has every incentive to rat him out.

I don't feel like fighting about it, but I find it very very surprising how many people think it's some sort of clear cut fact that TW never dabbled in PEDs. IMO that's wildly naive in regards to both TW's drive and personality type, and upper level elite athletics as a whole. It's speculation not facts either way, but IMO all the signs are there, and it's--how was it they put it in that whole Brady and football PSI thing?--"more probable than not."

He did or he didn't based on how one feels about the man. There is no evidence, no smoking gun and Woods was a pretty normal size for a guy with his height and bone structure. Opinion on either side of this coin is speculative at best. It's just too bad that a strong opinion of who the man might be becomes the basis for one's belief in whether he partook of PEDs or not.

I admit I am a suspicious conspiracy theory kind of guy by nature, but for mine there are too many links, and PED use is too commmon amongst gym rats, to believe that tiger didn't take them during his career. But I also strongly believe any use of enhancements were purely cosmetic and not golf related. Tiger was a real skinny kid with a small frame, I have seen guys like him that don't put on any muscle in the gym unless they take 'supplements'. I have also known plenty of fitness instructors who say that without roids and ridiculous amounts of food most guys will not make any noticeable size gains in the gym. Obviously genes have a lot to do with size to begin with and there are plenty of huge guys who have never taken PEDs, but when a naturally small guy gets big from going to the gym there is more at play than lifting weights. And tiger was a naturally small guy.

I disagree. As one who spent 5 days a week, 3 hours per session for 15 years in the weight room lifting heavy, I never once felt the need to supplement.

When I started I was a skinny 150lbs at 5'10" tall. I ended up at 192 lbs. in about 3 years and have stayed there ever since. I believe Woods workout regimen got him to size not PEDs Only a few guys I knew did them and not a single trainer I ever met advocated their use.

That ain't good. But if he was having spasms after Dubai and they haven't alleviated, he's really got to evaluate his career at this point. I've had exactly ZERO surgeries and my back is hosed and I'm in pain daily. He's had his back worked on 4x and he's still having issues.

No he didn't. There was no social media back then. His life remained private, as it should have. While Woods wasn't so fortunate, I think he is stronger than we think, in that regard. I believe that his game's downward spiral was mostly caused by his back.
