I wouldnt be surprised one bit if we can continue the first time major winner theme and Finau wins this thing.

I hope its Finau or Berger that win, they seem less whiny than the others

In looking at the pin sheets today and seeing the pictures of the course that don't look any better than yesterday despite tons of water, I don't see how scoring is any better today than yesterday.

For sure it will be the same. Mike Davis lies throighhis dentures this morning on GC. I predict that they totally loose a few greens today. Brian Gay All the way !

I’ve had a couple interactions with him, and more than enough with people that work around him. He’s a chronic liar, and a few of the agronomists are confused about the USGA initiatives, saying one thing for clubs to do but doing another. The best leaders go by example, until something changes at the top it won’t filter down to lower levels of golf.

That's a bold statement presented as fact, not opinion like the rest of us muppets, Care to offer an example to support your statement that Mike Davis is a chronic liar?

ive heard him lie twice since this morning.. just look up the weather forecast for yesterday.. the forecast hits it dead on.. to say " we didnt now " or "we got more wind than expected" is in fact a lie

Over/Under for leader finishing -2 or better?

Does under mean worse than -2 in this case? If so I'd take the under.

Honestly not sure they'll settle this one today. I could see a three or even four way playoff at E or -1, maybe more like +1 or +2 if the wind blows. If someone posts -2 or better they're your winner.

You have it backwards. Either way, I think you are right. I could definitely see a 3 way tie at E. Conditions will get harder as the day goes on, and when the final groups hit the back 9 it could be very similar to yesterday. I just hope somebody doesnt post a number early that ends up winning it. That makes for boring TV.

I think he was a bit embarrassed and was trying to spin it so the USGA didn't look bad. At least that is what I thought when I saw that interview yesterday.

And now a long Finau interview - I so badly want a PGA Redzone channel. Pictures of Finau's gross foot from the Masters instead of live golf shots lol Fox

fox probably shows more golf shots than all the other networks. Lots of putting being shown on the others. Who wants to see Nicklaus, or any other star talk when they could show golf shots.

I can’t see any longtime golf fan supporting what Phil did yesterday. I would not be suprised to see some sponsers slowly pull away. He could have done some damage control by owning up to what he did and offering a sincere apology but he chose not to. He could even of done so today but he chose not to, at least so far. Whoever is advising him would be wise to give him some direction in this. The setup today is more of a Thursday setup. I would not be suprised to see a 63 today. To me that’s a joke. Stand behind what this championship is. A tough test of golf where pars need to be earned. USGA caved to public pressure.

Agreed, Phil isn’t my favorite player on tour but I root for him. Total bush league move on his part. His explanation for it just makes him seem like a total grease ball. He should’ve been DQ’d. Forget the rule book and letter of the law, he looked like a moron jogging across the green to his ball.

Golf course superintendents all around the country

Sleepless nights when it's too hot, too humid, too wet to dry.

Up with the sun, always watching always worrying,,always taking care of the greens

Lose the greens due to out of control weather or pest

FIRED

Kill the greens to test players?

At the USGA Tournament Director candidate

Sure....Less whiny because they got out early and put up 66’s and then went somewhere peaceful and ate and drank in a nice air conditioned Hotel room and watched on TV as another theatrical meltdown occurred....Hahahaha.

Good for them. Should make for good TV today.

I guess David Fay's commentary yesterday about the USGA not losing the course was a "little" off? They're probably having a drought alert for all the water they dumped on that course overnight.

Well the idiots are back out today. It's going to be difficult to watch this today while having to listen to all the incessant yelling on every tee ball.

I can respect your opinion, but tournament golf is entertainment. Speaking only for me, I don’t find much entertainment value in what was shown yesterday. What you considered tough,

I found a joke. We will see what today brings.
