Do you see any Wilson Staff in bags where you play?

Definitely seeing them around more — C300 irons and PMP wedges. The irons have been one of their best models. I know one golfer playing the C300 red driver and he swears by it. Their clubs are high quality.

 

It all depends on how much of a display they get in stores. If people see them and try them, they like them. They have poor resale, though, and that hurts the new sales market because people just wait for the big price break. But if the same club said TaylorMade on it, they’d sell a bunch more, especially the wedges.

 

The C300 hybrid is the only Wilson club currently in my bag and if is excellent. Love the more iron-like shape to it. Too many hybrid heads seem bulky in the new lineups, this one is sleek.

I played D100 irons for 2 yrs and just upgraded to the C200s. Only other person i’ve seen with wilson is the golf super at my municipal course. He plays with V4’s

 

But there is only one golf store in my town and a dicks sporting goods and neither sell wilson staff. I bought mine online without being able to demo them. Just based on reviews (and price ofcourse.)

I used to carry a Wilson Deep Red fairway wood .

My pro used to be a all Wilson staffer. ( they looked good those deep red's)

Other than the C200's in my bag I don't see any other golfers using Wilson clubs. Its a shame because the clubs are fantastic. I guess as long as others don't realize what a great iron Wilson makes I can keep getting them at great prices :)

Until the hey decide the pro-line golf equipment market isn’t a profitable enough space. They seem to be doing better but need a few more tour wins. I can’t believe that they didn’t get much traction after Padraig’s 2007-08 seasons.

The better players in my area have switched to the C300 driver....me too. Stupid easy to hit. Their irons aren't on tour much so guys who grow beards to look like DJ don't play them.

Just played with a guy that had a set 3-PW of FG Tour 100 blades. Could flat out play. I'd guess he was a good bit older than me (I'm 52), drove it well past me and was throwing darts with those irons. Even with a couple of bad holes, my estimation is that he was within a 2-3 strokes of par that day.

 

I didn't ask his background, but from a couple of interesting logos on his bag and putter headcover, I'm guessing he had a background in the game that went well beyond recreational play.

The assistant pro at our course is all Wilson. And a good friend of mine plays the new C-300 Forged irons. Best irons he's ever played.

I’ve only seen them in my bag here in Saint Louis other than their box sets. And that’s just from looking at peoples bags on the putting green and range. Lots of old clubs

I play the C300 2hybrid, the fg100s and the 3 PMP wedges, with the Infinite Tour putter....and they all fit in the staff bag

I had a buddy I played High School golf with who hit Wilson Staff - he went on to play some at Coker College.. I found it remarkably interesting

D200s in my bag, play a few times a year with a guy with some older fat shaft models, got paired up last month with someone gaming the C200s and the Triton.

 

Honestly I really don't go peering into bags that often, I'm more concerned with, y'know, playing golf.

Now playing c200 irons and grant park putter. Irons are great, putter is out of this world. I never thought I'd change putters but It made me change.

I don't see any. I have a Wilson Staff putter in the bag sometimes. Does that count?

 

It is sad that Wilson is where they are. When I was growing up Wilson was #1 in the country on tour and in amateurs bags. The next closest competitor was MacGregor, who pretty much dominated the driver/woods market but were massively strong in irons as well.

I see them from time to time and they are actually fantastic golf clubs, the v6 are ball speed monsters in the players iron category. That said, alot of people still get caught up on the fact that they once saw wilson clubs for sale in walmart and think it is a cheap brand.

 

I am considering putting the v6 in play, they work great but my irons work pretty darn well right now too.

I don't see them very often in other bags, but I am a fan. My wife plays di5 irons and I played V6 for a year or so before I started played the mp-18 sc.
