Casey will force Phil to shoot 65 to win. Phil knows it but he's just a bit too wild to pull that off. If it was a dry/clear day, different story, but Phil is not a mudder.

Ive watched it this year. It's been good. Reason - you would hardly know its an "AM", hardly any Bill Murray (being British I clearly don't think he's funny at all). I only realized today Tony Romo wasn't the head of the rib chain.

Poor round by Jordan, but again progress with 2 good rounds in a row prior to that. Anybody see his tee shot on 13 and just how he hit it so short and crooked?

 

Caught a tree I think, bit like 18 at the Masters last year just came back and meant his drive only went about 150 yards. His driving was well off at times ýesterday.

This tournament is unwatchable for the most part. It may have been discussed here or explained in the broadcast, but Casey is leading the tournament and I didn't see him hit a single golf shot yesterday. How does that happen?

One thing in Casey's favour is the group at -9 feels slightly too far back as I'd expect at least one player at that score to go low.

 

Last year Casey was awful on the final day when he was in or near the lead. Valspar he fell over the line despite being 1 hour ahead of the final group, the way he played the last few holes there was a real struggle and the Travelers was a complete disaster.

 

Casey may well win but I wouldn't bet on it and I'd flabbergasted if he increases the margin.

The coverage yesterday on PGA live was excellent. Focused on Jordan/DJ and Phil. They also showed most of Paul Casey’s round at Spyglass and a few shots from MPCC. If your more a fan of just the pros and don’t want the fluff it’s the way to watch. Not sure if the course will be playable today so the tee times may need to be moved back an hour or so. We will see. Looking for a Phil Casey duel. Phil needs to play the first 7 in 3 to 4 under to get back in it. Not really feeling like anyone else has much of a chance.

I think it would only be shortened to 54 if it was rained out today and also tomorrow. I'm sure they'd try and get to 72 and play tomorrow if possible. Next event is in L.A. so not too far to travel.

They're only calling for light rain, no one will melt. They'll play lift, clean, and cheat which is necessary at PB year round. Not a lot of movement on the LB would be my guess, Casey will get his win and we'll talking about Riv in three days.

After watching the last few weeks on the new PGA Tour Live/NBC Gold app I'm really happy with the coverage. Announcers are fine and much less commercials than the regular feed. My $.02c if you want it or not!
