RIP the Sciflex, the best glove ever, I have 1 left. I don’t like the new one so I’ve switched to the Titleist Perma soft for now as I got a decent deal on them.

Footjoy Pure Touch are my go to. They are pricey, but when you put a fresh one on, you feel a tingle in your crotch! I have never had one rip or the velcro wear out. It's time for me to change when I'm pulling the velcro all the way across the glove from being stretched out. I usually change gloves every three months or so with these.

For the price point, I would also recommend the MG Elite gloves. I used these before finding the pure touch and they were great. I never ripped one of these either, but they did stretch out fast and I actually wore the velcro out on quite a few. I do still play these for my mid-summer tournament in the desert every year. I'll buy four of them and pull our a fresh one for each round. Typically I've sweated through them by the 3rd or 4th hole and up tossing them after the round.

I also like the fit of the Under Armour CoolSwitch, but I might try some of the MG gloves since they have such a following here on WRX.

Titelist Permasoft..... I normally buy 4 or 5 packs off ebay for a solid price. That will last me an entire year. I found a really nice Taylormade glove on the course a while back, and may get some of those in the future. They were nice.

I usually use MG, but there are some caveats. I find that their cadet gloves have finger lengths that are basically equivalent to the regular gloves of everyone else. They also stretch ALOT if it isn't super tight when you first put it on, after a few wears it will be really loose. I usually wear a medium/large in most other brands but take a medium cadet in MG.

For the money I also like the Srixon Z Cabretta.

The Nike Tour Classic is always nice. I don’t expect to get more than a season out of my gloves and in my experience most seem to do the job.

I gave up on Leather . My hands sweat so much during summer, they only last few months..

I switch to rain gloves (cloth based)...

I've been using one over a year without any issues..

I have zero loyalty to any glove, they all seem to wear the same and I seem to have like five different gloves in my bag at any given time for no reason at all. I just reach in and wear whatever comes up, lol.

That said I have a Bionic in there that I got as gift last year that I actually do love. It fits perfectly and seems to be wearing incredibly well. Is I ever become glove loyal, pretty sure it'll be to those.

Money no object it would be the Titleist Player's, but playing 4 or 5 times a week in summer I can't justify £20 if it's only going to last 3 weeks or so. I will buy a couple, but tend to find cheaper options for range work or just knocking about.

The Mizuno Elite gloves last well but aren't the last word in feel, but I've become a big fan of the Srixon Z Cabretta recently. Feel similar to the Titleist, last a bit better and are £12 rather than £20.

Henrik - Titleist 917 F3 15 deg, Rogue Max 75x, B2 Setting

The Walking Stick - Titleist 818 H2 19 deg, Rogue Max 85x, B2 Setting

The Interloper - TaylorMade P770 3 iron, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5inch +1 deg loft

The Blades - Nike VR Pro 4 - AW, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5 inch

The Sand Iron - TaylorMade MG2 TW-12 Grind, 56 degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Flopper - TaylorMade MG2 TW-11 Grind, 60 Degree, S400 Tour Issue

Switched to the MG Golf Tech-Grip glove last year. $6.99 per. I live/play in Texas so I always have three or four gloves in rotation to combat a sweaty hand. These have played and lasted just as well as the Nike gloves I used to buy for $24 per.

Might have to give these Srixon Z's a try. I usually go for the Titleist Players glove but using 3 or 4 a year gets expensive

I've never heard of MG gloves before? Are they only available on-line? If MG is really priced under $7 might be worth a try...

Last season I played most of my rounds without a glove and didn't notice a decline in my scores...anyone else?

$5.99 or $6.99 depending on your preference

I’m weirdly obsessed with golf gloves. I have tried them all and personally I think nothing comes close to the feel of the FJ pure touch. I recently bought the FJ 1857 glove and really wasn’t that impressed, especially for the $75 price tag. I understand it makes some people cringe just thinking about spending that kind of money on a glove, but the pure touch is worth every penny. A lot of the smaller/boutique brands selling “superior” leather gloves for $40 or more have all been underwhelming.

For a cheaper option the Srixon Z Cabretta are top notch and you can always find great deals on them. MG gloves are great for the price, but don’t buy into the idea that they are just as good for a quarter of the price than more premium gloves, you get what you pay for.

The best glove purchase I ever made was a pair of FJ rain gloves. I’ve had the same pair for years and they still work great.
