I have the feeling people wanted to come on here and talk crap about Koepka but couldn't since he won and now are complaining about everything else. Geez. Can't we just be happy we have the next hot streak golfer? Looking at the other guys, who knows how long this streak will last so just enjoy it! It's 3 years already!

You missed a great tournament on Sunday. The back nine was a circus. Kinda like the anti-Masters. Instead of a barrage of birdies and eagles. It was bogeys and doubles. Players were dropping like flies. One minute Jazz was at -5, looking at a Top 3 finish, and six holes later he was at +2. It was crazy.

When it lasts this long in my mind it's more than a hot steak its his "normal", OK I don't expect him to continue winning back to back majors but he'll be a factor for a long time yet. Of course nobody can predict the future with certainty, he could get injured. We all know the best example of player looking almost unbeatable losing that edge, nothing lasts forever.

Pretty cool that Koepka has won back to back US Open and PGA Championships but I have to agree with the person who stated earlier this was like when Kaymer won the US Open at Pinehurst. Not the most exciting tournament till it got right down to the end. On a non-tournament note, one thing I would like to know is how come the title of this thread changed several times during the last few days?

If it’s been stated previously, apologies, as if ya wanna talk about ADD, though I’ve missed 22 pages since my last post, I can only go back and read the last two(Page 64), lol?

That being said, I heard a worthless factoid that is still pretty amazing as it was stated that DJ is one of only 8 golfers to have a Grand Slam of Majors with Runner-Up finishes with his Runner-Up finish yesterday.

I guess that that’s a somewhat dubious “honor,” especially when it’s DJ, however it still is a very exclusive club considering how many Players have Played for Pay on Tour.

Superb job by Brooks!!

Oh, and no, racism is not exclusive to any city/town in the Carolinas?

I assure you that it is wide spread and I’ll even go so far as to state with confidence that it’s alive & well in your city?

Putz?

Have a great week Gals & Gents?

Disagree @jmvargas and @JonnyKrasnodar? Really, lol?

As another poster noted, it's been the strongest field for years - pretty well known fact that's been discussed on here and in the golf world for several years.

And I know I'm in the minority here. But I actually liked the vibe of the crowd on Sunday. Were they a little over the top? Yeah, at times, especially on DJ's swing on 16 (or 17?). But there was a buzz in the air for sure.

Blatant offensive interference on Pearson, but hey, the Cowboys have been getting away with pushing off forever.

People thought Hogan was boring and aloof until he almost died, then he became an exciting story. Brooks is kind of like pre-accident Hogan, only he wins more majors than pre-accident Hogan.

The range of facial emotions in that brief video is Academy Award material. Anger. Confusion. Sadness. And finally, steely resoluteness. All without saying a word. Bravo madam.

Brooks did a great job in his press conference last night, he was honest, insightful and even funny. I think he finally realizes that he can't close himself off completely from the fans and media without making the road to double digit Majors much tougher. It had to hurt a bit after the effort he put in for 3+ days to hear his gallery chanting DJ. Even if you have ice in your veins we have an innate desire to at least be appreciated for our efforts and the fans were not showing much appreciation. I don't expect Brooks to become YJS, but based on the press conference, he does seem wiling to make a little more effort which is good for him, the fans and golf.
