Yep, but not exactly the ESPN, we have golf channels here in Scandinavia with scandinavian speaking commentators, but I guess its the same feed. Guess that is pretty much the same in other parts of the world. And more or less legally you can always see the ESPN directly. Actually, thats kind of a big continous argument in Scandinavia. The commentator style of the Nantzes et al suits some, the British commentators style attracts more and our scandinavian, old European tour players mostly, suits some. As an american and a scandinavian normally are distinguishable as talkers when travelling.

Guess there is a pay alternative wherever you are, IPTV for the old Napsters and ad infected free streams online. I do pay my about 15 dolores / month to see the stuff. Has been an extremely bad deal for a couple of months now, but last weeks have seen improvements, even if you miss the crowds.

Haha pretty much been there done that. Was there a couple of years ago and that cold breeze is no joke. We all ended up buying som wind/thin jackets in the middle of the summer. And I'm Swedish so one would think I should be able to handle it..

I signed into ESPN+. It's interesting. It looks like they have multiple "channels". The main broadcast and the feature groups as opposed to PGA tour live's 1 channel. If you open multiple browser windows you can watch perhaps 3 different groups (muted or you'll go crazy). No bad.

It's nice to be able to watch the main broadcast before the feature groups start. Van Pelt and Duval are the commentators. I'm able to watch on my big TV thanks to Roku and the ESPN app. I'll be able to go back and forth but won't be able to watch all three at the same time.

Totally get it, but I am in the midst of power outages, cable/wifi outages, etc. here in NJ from Tropical Storm Isaias, and I'll pay the darn $5 for this month to stream this, and then cancel. Don't want to miss this on principle for $5, but pretty low of PGA and ESPN IMHO.

It's a great way to try to get less people to watch your sport. Decreasing viewership seems to be a top priority to Jay Monahan and team. They are doing a tremendous job at that.

I got the Disney+,Hulu,Epsn+ for $12. I hope they put more stuff on ESPN+ because until now I haven't really used it.

I was wondering about the lack of outrage about ESPN+ when I posted this Sunday night.

ESPN+ is not ESPN, you don't get it just because you have ESPN on cable. You have to pay $5 a month extra.

 

Be thankful they didn't do it as a PPV and charge $30 like Disney+ is doing with Mulan.

I was born here. But you can ski in Tahoe, surf in Santa Cruz, or go wine tasting in Napa, all within three hours (or less) of home.

San Francisco used to be a beautiful city (not so much any more...won't get into politics), but that doesn't change the geography of Northern California.

Where I live is only 30 miles east and the weather is totally different. Where I grew up on the peninsula (Palo Alto, etc.) has arguably the best weather on the planet.

Oh, and really good tech jobs. When everyone else has a recession we do too, but it's not nearly as bad...lots of great jobs. Taxes are bad though...

What a step down from the Masters app from last year. We were given the option to watch every shot, featured groups, and even the broadcast stream if didn't have ESPN. Why isn't that the standard for every major?
